Ok the Top 4 fights are:

1)Anderson Silva Vs Vitor Belfort
2)Forrest Griffin vs Rich Franklin
3)Jake Ellenberger Vs Carlos Rocha
4)Jon Jones vs Ryan Bader.

This is how it will work, say WHO will win, HOW they will win (TKO,Submission, or Decision), and WHAT round they will win in.

shit I forgot about this whole fight. I don't get into MMA really anymore but I have crazy respect for that Brazilian cat, Silva. I'm glad to hear he won. He seems little he may well on his way to creating one the strongest legacies of all time.

And though douchebag on yahoo already say he's the best MMA fighter ever ( a few days back it was in a news story), I think he probably has to fight at least another 60 time before he can be considered in the talks. But what do I know...

What's your alls opinion on this? Too early for Silva to be talked about as one of the greatest? It just seems wayyyyyy to early.

Well my opinion would be you cant look at it like a boxing record, which I am assuming thats how u r comparing it. Not 1 person in mma goes 35-40 fights undefeated like every great boxer did. U should watch how he won last night, with a front kick to his jaw, it was brutal and amazing, also watch how he defeated Griffin, watch both times he destroyed Franklin, or Irvin, look at a few of his fights. He is the best pound for pound in MMA hands down. The guy on yahoo is a jackass, I read the article a few days ago that u reffered to, he said Couture is 50 something, when in reality he is 47, he knows nothing and doesnt research shit, so I actually emailed him with a wikipedia link saying since he doesnt research anything basically to take the time out to atleast wiki his shit so its not so horrible. No response.

Steven Seagal helped Anderson Silva with KO front kick (http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/blog/cagewriter/post/Steven-Seagal-helped-Anderson-Silva-with-KO-fron?urn=mma-317407)

Action film star Steven Seagal accompanied UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva to the Octagon at UFC 126 on Saturday night before Silva knocked Vitor Belfort out (http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/blog/cagewriter/post/UFC-126-Silva-front-kick-puts-Belfort-out-in-th?urn=mma-317393) with a highlight reel front kick. Seagal was not just there for star power. According to Silva, he learned the kick from Seagal.

That was a kick we were working on before I stepped in," Silva said through a translator at the post-fight press conference. "This was a kick that I trained a lot."
Seagal is known for the movies "Above the Law" and "Out for Justice," but he's also an accomplished martial artist, holding a black belt in aikido, a Japanese martial art, that he earned in Japan. His prowess has helped Silva become Yahoo! Sports' second-ranked pound-for-pound fighter in MMA (http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news;_ylt=AtpKURrKrpZb45YCjIIKIeM9Eo14?slug=dd-mmaranks012010).
He trains at the elite Black House gym with Silva, UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo and several other high level fighters, and is seen in this Brazilian video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaVDFW_o1cA&feature=fvst) teaching Silva and other Blackhouse fighters.
This wasn't his first time at a fight with Silva, as he accompanied him to the cage before Silva's comeback victory at UFC 117. Now, Seagal can add two-time winning corner man to his resume.

Seagal has gotten so fat, I'd be surprised if he could kick above his waist.

yeah I doubt he could, aikido is more about using moment of your opponent against them , than karate , muay thai, or tae kwon do style kicking, I wish i knew the stuff that guy does, id rather be able to fight like an MMA guy, but it would be nice to know the shit that seagal knows

Out of the movie martial artists, Seagal was always my favorite to watch. He always seemed to use so little movement, unlike Jean Claude Van Damme flying around in the air and everything.

My wrestling (1999) told me that he saw alot of kickboxing comp's back in the day and that van damme couldnt really fight worth a shit, he said chuck norris was the real deal tho, just kind of interesting

although he has a decent kickboxing record, sp maybe he saw him later in his life
