yeah I have a short one that I posted today, I will look a bit more. It seems like finding any info (thats not posted on forums, but from colleges and doctors that have studied it) on HGH in general is much easier to find than IGF, but I will continue to search. I will post any good finds.

Those % results seem way too high compared to studies I have seen. Was that study on rats or humans? I have used HGH over the past 4 years, always with an AAS cycle. 3 generic brands and Pfizer's Genotropin. The only results I could see was fat loss around my waist with Genotropin. 4 Iu's a day for 4 mo. Nothing with the generic brands. No noticeable additional muscle gain over a regular cycle with no HGH. My opinion of HGH is that it is way overpriced and over hyped as to what it can do for you.

I think it is comparatively speaking, as in you will not go from what your strength is (while u work out now) to 80% more I think its from a resating point. Either way the strength and muscle gains seem a bit high, so I agree, however I think its pretty good for showing the healing capabilities and benifits for skin and other things. Thats why they use it now everywhere in "youth clinics". Def over priced esp considering the duration of which you should be on it.

well I know that a good friend who is in his 50 yrs old range has been using MC IGF for about 2 weeks now, has noticed tighter skin, overall sense of wellbeing, increase bodyfat loss, and some muscle gain...at only 30mcg's per day...so I know for him (HIM) he is getting some of the same benifits out of igf as you would HGH...and at a cheaper price

My apologies for bumping an old thread, but I was wondering if there was an article or working paper that went along with these results. I'd like to see the methodology used in this study/experiment, if possible.

I assume these are dummy variables, and that I'm interpreting the results as "81% or participants in the intervention experience an increase in muscle mass" versus saying "on average you will gain an 81% muscle mass with use," which sounds absurd.

The difficulty with these statistics is that, for instance, it is not known what the average magnitude of muscle mass gained out of the 81% that had a positive result, and if that magnitude is statistically significant. It seems we just know that 81% of the participants in the treatment group had increased muscle mass.

Anyway, a paper on the research design would be great.

Thank you,
S

I have been running 5IU's/day 5 on 2 off for 2 weeks now along side my TRT dose of 200mgs of Cypionate every week.

Looking forward to the results that could possibly follow along with this protocol.

One thing that is quite difficult to manage is the bloat. Water retention on top of what I already have with the test has driven up my BP a little bit but that is manageable. I notice it can be harder to breath at times (Any recommendations for this?) and also, I get some insane tingling in my arms for about 2-3 hours after my injection. So far though I feel good other than what is listed. I sleep like an infant every night as well and am waking up earlier due to more restful sleep!

I will clear this up for you and the others who questioned on this thread years ago and wondering in the future. It means an 81% increase in muscle mass as it states, what needs to be considered is their variables here, it is 81% in "comparison to something". So they take two groups, one get HGH one gets a placebo... diet/exercise/lifestyle etc are virtually the same between the groups. They measure the increase of muscle mass in the "HGH group: compared to the gains of the "Placebo group". To keep things simple it is basically saying if you add 1 lb of lean mass without HGH the same diet/person/work output would yeild 1.8 lbs of lean mass while using HGH... when it says 80 % increase in strength it is saying that over X time, the placebo group added ten lbs to there working weight, the HGH group added 18lbs. When you see numbers and percent increases like that it is always implied as being in comparison to controlled placebo group and visa versa...

And Metal cited his find her... he ended the study with

That, sir, is incredible. holy shit. I really didn't anticipate an effect with that large magnitude. truly incredible.
