Peptide refrigeration question?

C0DE BREAKER

New member
Do you keep the peptides refrigerated, and just before your application, take them out, then warm them in the microwave to room temp, for the application?

No. Just use right from fridge.
I don't know if microwaving will hurt them....but it certainly wont help.

I dunno if its been proven but the general understanding is rapid temp changes aren't good for peptides.

NO, don't microwave them!! Unless you want to completely destroy them that is..heating will denature the molecules and render them useless.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies, appreciate it :)!
I was wondering since i thought that due to it being stored in the fridge, that the low cold temp of the peptide when entering the body, could harm the body.
But thanks for the answers, its a relief :).

So as soon as i reconstitute the peptide, i'll store it right in the fridge.
And just before subcuteneous application i can take the injections cold, straight from the fridge, and i'll be fine :)?

Oh, i've also read that direct sunlight can degrade the peptides, so i guess it would be best to load the syringe in the fridge then, just for an extra precaution?

Also another question, would sodium chloride 0.9% injection water, degrade the peptide aswell?

Thanks again.

no BW shouldn't degrade it. Yes, you can take the applications cold.
