i have finally managed to get my ex into the world of weights... but i'm not sure how i should set her up regarding her excercise schedule..
she want&#39;s to tone up and loose some inches of fat here and there.. (obviously)... <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/IB3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
so i wonder if some of you could be so kind and sweet (i&#39;m kissing ass here and i know it.. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/IB3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> ), to set her up with a schedule or something, or better yet post yourselves excercise plan... my main plan for her is put her on a clean diet and make her &quot;suffer&quot; for 3-4 days a week, probably 3 eod.. more then that and she&#39;ll more than likely quit whitin weeks/days...

for the record she&#39;s not fat, she&#39;s just easy to &quot;grab&quot; .. lol ... god forbid she ever sees this thread.. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/IB3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

well if she&#39;s only going 3 days a week.. have her do a full body workout.. she&#39;s not going to get big..etc..

start out with a warm up cardio.. 15 min ^ on a tread mill or eliptical ...
2-3 &nbsp;sets for each muscle group... (2 sets the first 2 weeks. until her easy to grab body gets used to it.)
you may want to run her thru mostly the nautilus type machines first so &nbsp;she can get the basic idea of what the forms for most exersizes are ..ie lateral raises for the shoulders... sadly that machine can give her the idea how to perform it correctly when she grabs a weight in her hand.. if she gets to that point..
legs... smith machine squats...
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; leg extentions
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; lying leg curls
back.. hyper-extentions
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; front lat pull downs.. &nbsp;close(palms facing in) &nbsp;or
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; wide grip
chest.. pec deck...
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;bench press on the smith machine...
tri&#39;s ... (machine that simulates ) french dip
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; extentions using free weights.. please show he how to do them right.. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/IB3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
bi&#39;s ... preacher curls on the nautilus machines..
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; and dumbbell curls
shoulders.. lateral raises
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; shoulder presses
abs...... leg raises
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;crunches

i know this sounds like a lot but if she is only doing 2 sets .. the first couple weeks.. well it really shouldn&#39;t take her too long.. not more than an hour ..... 30 - 60 seconds of rest between sets.. to keep the heart rate up... &nbsp;
then if it is not to much for her have her do some cardio right after... to burn more grababitlity &nbsp;.... &nbsp; if not she should do some cardio min 3-4 days out of the week...

that&#39;s not my workout but .. it would be good for her to begin with and if she actually stays with it . you change it after 2-3 weeks... add another day... so have her go 4 days .. at that point you would swith it to a half body... ie up then lower... ...

sorry to take so long to respond.. was away for the holidays and have a &nbsp;lot of catching up to do...
