CKD diet....

Hey everyone,

I've been reading a lot lately about the CKD diets out there and although there seems to be a lot of consensus among the people that it's a great diet, the results don't really speak for themselves.  I've seen the stats of some people who have posted their progress and there isn't a significant amount of difference that seems worth it.

I also have noticed that this diet seems to work better for people who are mostly trying to maintain the muscle mass not so much for those who want to burn fat, is that true or just a misconception on my part?
Has anyone on this board tried any CKD diets? What was your experience with it? Did it help you to burn more fat than a regular low carb, low fat, high protein diet?

OK so I'll stop babbling and let someone answer <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

I get good results from CKD diets, and so does my girlfriend.

The important thing about CKDs is that you can't cheat, and they are a bit restrictive. You also have to pay close attention to your calories and be sure that you are taking in enough.

I have an article in the ARTICLES section that talks a bit on it. It's called SUPERCUT. I wrote it a year ago, and some things have changed. But there are links in the article to a CKD calculator as well as to several lo-carb recipe sites.
