During a UFC conference call Friday, UFC president Dana White announced that Cain Velasquez will be defending the UFC heavyweight title against Junior dos Santos at the first UFC on FOX card. The event will originate from the Honda Center in Anaheim.

UFC announced their deal with FOX Broadcasting in August. The deal will call for four cards on FOX Network, six on FX and the highly popular “The Ultimate Fighter” series will move to FX with live fights at the end of each show.
The FOX feature will have only one fight on the card with a five-round heavyweight title fight.
Tickets for the event will go on-sale next Sept. 9 at Ticketmaster and the Honda Center box office.
The remaining card for the event hasn’t found a home yet. White was too concerned with getting the main event sewn up. They are now focusing on where the other fights will live as well

Nice matchup. I was worried they might only give Fight Night caliber cards.

when is this November? its too bad I hate fox, and I love UFC, I guess I just wont buy the PPVs but see em at a restaurant

i'm probably in the minority here, but i'm kinda getting bored with and burned out with mma already.....

irish, you're not the only one. I mean I will still watch it, but it's not as entertaining as it was in 06 in Iceman and Couture were in their 2nd and 3rd fights against each other

I respect it so much and can realize all the dynamics and if you cant its just not the same. I love it, the amount of talent and training that goes into this amazes me, not to mention the amount of heart, theres no quiting and being good at the same time in this sport.
