Main-event winner Alistair Overeem ($385,714.28) and fellow heavyweight headliner Brock Lesnar ($400,000) were the top earners at Friday's UFC 141 event.

The duo accounted for 57 percent of the night's official $1,369,714.28 fighter payroll.

MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) obtained the salary figures from the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Friday.

UFC 141 took place Friday at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card aired on pay-per-view, and prelims streamed on Facebook and aired on Spike TV.

Overeem scored a first-round TKO victory in the night's headliner, which earned him a guaranteed title shot. It also sent Lesnar into MMA retirement. In the co-headliner, Nate Diaz ($74,000) earned a decision victory over fellow lightweight Donald Cerrone ($30,000) in a heavily anticipated grudge match.

The full list of UFC 141's disclosed paydays included:

Alistair Overeem: $385,714.28 (includes $121,428.57 win bonus)
def. Brock Lesnar: $400,000

Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays. They also do not include portions of the pay-per-view revenue that some top-level fighters receive.

For example, as previously reported, UFC officials handed out additional $75,000 UFC 141 bonuses to Hendricks ("KO of the Night"), as well as Diaz and Cerrone ("Fight of the Night").

In other words, the above figures are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for the event.

I wouldnt lol you'd feel much different when you are standing in front of him and your knees wont stay still

Ur medical bills would be twice that lol

They actually have insurance for their fighters now!

How in the hell is Brock making more money for a loss??

Its the way it goes, a few of the fights on this card are that way or would have been that way had the winner lost. It goes by how much they are going to brig in, and lets admit it Brock was a big drawing for sales, I bet he doesnt stay retired and it would be a shame bc although I dont care for him e has progressed a lot, he had a lot more head movement and foot work in this fight, far from perfect but def getting better. Even Overeem said Brock shouldnt retire lol

That's just nuts, I don't care who the bigger draw is in the fight, the loser shouldn't get paid more

happens with any kind of fight organization.
Look at the picture on the post, doesnt it look like Brocks arm is tiny from that pic?

stop by my place, lol, ill see what I can do. Seriously though i would fight anyne on this planet for that kind oif money

Me too. Except I'd rather do it in boxing than MMA. In MMA, when you fall they can keep pounding on you.
