Eli vs. Brady...

As much as I hate both of these guys, I'm happier to see them in it than the Ravens or 49ers. I'm a huge Steelers fan so obviously I can't root for the Ravens and I can't root for the 49ers to win because they have 5 titles and we have 6 so I don't want anyone to match that just yet. So with that said, I don't wanna hear any more talk about the Patriots being a dynasty so I don't wanna see them win. Leaving me with the only team left, the fucking Giants and Eli Manning. I can't stand the fact that this sack of shit thinks he's an "elite" QB.

I'd hate to think of Eli having more rings than Peyton and have anyone say he's better than Peyton. But, I hate even worse the thought of Brady winning another ring.

Sports anouncers and scouts have been saying Eli is better then Peyton since College. Maybe they actualy knew what they were talking about for once, lol

Eli is not a better QB than Peyton. I don't care what sports announcers say. You can't pull Eli off the Giants and them win 8 less games next season with virtually no other changes. The Colts went from 10-6 to 2-14. I'd be willing to bet that if Eli was injured next season and they had a backup in there whether it be either one of the back ups that Indy used this year and I'd be willing to bet they wouldn't drop 8 games back of the season before. That would basically show that Eli doesn't carry the team the same way that Peyton carries the Colts. You can compare numbers all you want, but that only means so much when the guys around you are good. Peyton has had far less the players that Eli has and a far less productive D to carry the load and year in and year out they're winning 10+ games. Eli is good, but he's not a superior QB in my book.

I agree with Big. I'd even go as far as so say that in my opinion, Peyton is one of the best ever. I don't consider Eli to even be one of the best playing right now. Defense wins championships and Eli is on a Giants team with a great defense. The Colts have had Freeney and Sanders and other great defenders, but never a really great defense.

in my opinion he is the best QB i have ever seen play the game.

I don't know if I can say Peyton is the greatest I've seen play, but he's certainly up there. Thinking back to the greats that I've seen play, I'd definitely put him up there with Montana, Aikman, Elway and Marino. I'm not typically one to compare people unless they've played the same time, but I'd have to say that he could hold his own with each of those guys in every aspect of the game. I just don't think Eli can control a game and make the play calls and audibles that Peyton can. Peyton's ability to read defenses is second to none and Eli just doesn't have that ability in my opinion. I mean he's good, but he's not an elite QB or even in my opinion a great QB.
