Former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres will face Michael McDonald at UFC 145 on April 21 in Atlanta, the promotion announced Friday.

Torres was released from UFC's roster in December following an inappropriate tweet on his personal Twitter account. He was reinstated later in the month after performing community service, issuing apologies and meeting with UFC president Dana White.

Before his release, Torres defeated Nick Pace by unanimous decision at UFC 139. He has a professional record of 39-4, and is 2-1 in UFC.

McDonald (14-1) is undefeated in UFC, having won all three of his fights with the promotion.

UFC officials also announced on Friday that seven more fights are slated for the Atlanta card, including a heavyweight tilt between Brendan Schaub and Ben Rothwell.

On Thursday, UFC revealed that featherweights Mark Hominick and Eddie Yagin have agreed to meet at UFC 145. Hominick and Yagin were originally scheduled to do battle in Montreal on March 24.

UFC officials, however, postponed the event because of scheduling difficulties and an inability to put a championship-caliber card together on that date.
