Better Energy From Training?

I know we've all heard it before, when you exercise you have more energy, feel better etc. Okay I get the feel better, I would need meds if I didn't train, depression etc, the gym takes care of that for me. But I do not have more energy. In fact lately I can barely keep my eyes open, always sore always tired. I know precontest it is normal due to overtraining that cannot be avoided but I basically always am exhausted. Do you all get the whole more energy thing cuz I am not getting it. Without stimulants I think I would have trouble getting off the couch. When people are overweight I guess it makes sense, the women I used to train always had more energy when they lost weight. I am always draggin, anyone else have these issues?

I'm with you! I feel great, but I'm always tired, even when I sleep well.

I know, I wake up sometimes and am already figuring out when I will be able to take a nap, like you said even if I sleep well.

I think it's a sign. Naps should be mandatory! I think everything changes when you get to a certain level of development. Bodybuilders and elite athletes are not like normal people.

I need stimulants also when I go to the gym or I may as well stay home. I think my problem is even if I'm sleeping all night long I don't think I'm getting GOOD sleep so I'm exhausted before the day even begins. I need my naps!!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :drooling:

God I wish I could take a nap during the day. Its amazing what a hour of shut eye will do.

Ive missed a week of working out and i was stressed out, pissed off and tired. Finally got to go last night and i feel like a new person

Good to hear Jpotch. You will feel better! Tired maybe but not mental, at least that is me
