Subq application bleed this morning is that normal?

I almost never have bleeding with subq? Did you pinch up a bit of skin to apply to?

Yea pinched and asperated ( spelling) I think maybe I went to far away from belly button

I guess I do about 4 inches away from my belly button. Never thought much about it, but I just pulled out a ruler and measured, hahaha. Is that spot hot to the touch now? Like has been said before on questions like this, are you touching it a lot that could cause it to be red?

I dont think the distace matters. I go all over the place and it never bleeds. I have got bruising and had it hurt going in, but it wasnt tender after. I bet you just went to deep and are really just messing with it and not realizing it. Keep in mind im not a doctor and im not the one who has to deal with it. lol

I'm assuming you did your sub-q pin then it started bleeding or you got it last night and it bled this morning?

Backload 5iu bw before the substance . What size pins? Don't say 21g please.. Need size and length for more info.. Thanks bro. Hey you can google insulin injections and site will show how and where to do sub shots. Prob utube it too . Just idea. Dont worry.. Maybe u were shaken pin around as it in ?

29g it started bleeding when I pulled needle out...I'm alive so must have went to deep or something

Is the redness fading? I'd just guess that it's one of those things that happens sometimes. I do some injections where you couldn't even tell where I'd done it afterwards and other times blood is running down pretty hard when I pull the needle out. I've never had it bleed badly on subq, but I'm sure it's not all that rare.

I'd guess that you just nicked a vein or artery on the way out
