Laser hair removal

Anyone get this done? I've had 4 treatments so far and loving it!!! Can't wait till I'm all done which should be around June and then I can tan! That's the only thing that sucks, but the whiter you are the better the results. Anyway, just wondering if anyone's had this done and how they liked it. I originally just wanted my underarms done, but now I've grown obsessed. I'm getting everything from my upper lip to my toes and everything in between. I'm super excited! I'm really starting to see less hair and don't have to shave as often. I've heard some horror stories about people getting burned or the laser leaving marks, but I haven't had any issues. I highly recommend getting it done. And razor refill are so darn expensive!

i'd love to get that done!! How much are treatments, and how many treatments? Do you have to go in for maintenance treatments too?

I'd love to have it done as well. Unfortunately I'm a hairy Mediterranean man and treatments would likely be costly

Yeah, razors are definitely expensive. I keep a shaved head, so I go through them like crazy.

From start to finish it'll take almost a year to be completely done with the treatments. That's if you're consistent and stick to your appts. She had my first 2 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart and now my legs she does every 8 weeks. It's very hard to stay white, but you get the best results the lighter you are. As far as cost goes, yeah it's kinda expensive but I have 6-8 weeks to save up for each appt. I'll tell you what I pay and what I have done, but of course it will depend on where you go. It's gonna get a little TMI but you asked so here goes leased: I pay $620 per treatment. That includes upper lip, under arms, the WHOLE bikini area (yes, front to back :moon upper and lower legs (they charge for upper and lower for some reason) and my toes. She is hooking me up so I know I'm getting a good discount. For example, she's doing my upper lip, my toes and ummm the back door area (The Dude wants me to use the word cornhole) for free. Her words were "Since I'm already down here I'll just zap that area too" hey, if it's free it's for me! It's anywhere from 6 to 8 treatments and (for me) if follow ups are needed it'll be $35. But to never have to shave again, deal with razor bumps and all that crap it's totally worth the money...and pain! Honestly the hardest part is not tanning. She think's I'll only need 6 treatments cuz I've been a good girl and stayed white as a ghost. I should be hairless and tan by mid June!!!

Cornhole LOL. Yup I have gotten it done as well, want to do my whole body eventually. Also doesn't matter how hairy you are, it works! I have to spend a ton on razor refills and also major shower time, would be nice to be rid of all that, I'm jealous Silk

I would love to at least get my underarms done. Now with my new boobies I cant seem to get those shaved as well. Considering waxing but permanent hair removal sounds good to me. Were the underarms very painful? Expensive?

That's how I got sucked in, Lol...I just wanted my underarms done! After my first treatment I had to wait 6 weeks until my next and during that time I'd managed to talk myself into getting everything done! You start off thinkin it would be nice to never have to deal with the bikini area and razor bumps, then you start to think how much it sucks to shave your knees cuz you (or at least I do) always miss spots and so on. Anyway, I went back to my laser lady and said I want it all gone! As far as pain the underarms sting while you're being zapped, but after she's done there's no pain. Feels like you're being snapped by a rubber band over and over again. Everyone's different, but it's anywhere from 6 to 8 treatments. For underarms I pay $55 per treatment and she spaces mine out every 6 weeks (legs are 8 weeks apart). So $55 (for underarms) every 6 weeks isn't bad. I'm 4 treatments in and I LOVE IT leased:

I always wondered if laser hair treatments worked. I'm a hairy Puertorican and would love to get it done!!

I love it! If you have the $ and patience then go for it. I only have 2 treatments left and I'm only shaving now once every few weeks. Some areas respond quicker than others. The bikini and underarms for example are 90% done. Can't wait till the legs catch up. It works!

Update for those interested...I love it! Only one more treatment to go and I'll be done! Ladies/guys if you're thinkin about having this done and got the money it's totally worth it. Like I said in an earlier post some areas of the body respond faster than others. I no longer need to shave my underarms or bikini area. I shave my legs (if I'm not feeling too lazy) once every week to 10 days just to get the last few remaining hairs. The Dude's a fan btw. One more treatment then I can tan. I know y'all are getting sick of me talking about that but it's really been a challenge to stay white for 9 plus months, LOL! I've already got The Dude stocking up on the melanotan
