Old Breast Implants

Okay girls or guys who have wives or girlfriends. I know there is a supposed shelf life on implants. Mine are 15 years old, holy crap I am getting old! They look real, feel real and I have had no problems with them ever. My doctor retired and I would be terrified to have them replaced and end up with a bad boob job, seen a lot of them. What do you girls think? If it ain't broke don't fix it??? Or to hell with the double ds and go to the double fs LOL.

I know the set my wife just replaced last May were 10 years old and were saline. The manufacturer's warranty on the implant is only ten years so we decided to replace them and go a bit bigger. She was 400cc's and she went to 550cc's and go to the new Silicone Implants. The new Silicone implants are SOOOOO much better. They feel better from my perspective and from her perspective they move with her body better and are more squishy. My wife runs a lot, like Half Marathons and she says the implants move with her body much better. The saline implants sloshed. These do not.

Worth every penny to upgrade IMHO.

I had no idea they had warrentys and expiration dates and such, thats crazy. I say if it aint broken dont fix it

I agree. I must say that silicone does make a nice feeling titty.... let me check... yep... very nice.

But, the silicone is much worse if and when they start leaking, right? The body absorbs the saline, but the silicone causes some problems with the body. I would talk to a surgeon or whatever to see if they have ways of testing for leaks. You don't want to wait around until that happens, especially if you have the old silicone ones.

That's a proven myth. Silicone is inert. Do you want a ton floating around... no, but it doesn't do anything. Steroids cause brain cancer.... ask Lyle Alzado or whatever his name is

lol, here i thought i just had a headache

I should've specified, I have saline implants. If you saw or felt them you would never know they were fake. I had Ds naturally but lost them through bodybuilding. No rippling or sloshing (that would freak me out), I think I will leave them alone for now. Thanks for all the input everyone. If I do get them done again in the future I would go bigger, they are 625ccs now, would love 800ccs but it may throw off my physique.

I would say leave them be right now as well. As you know I just got mine done and have the silicone gel ones. Love!!! :) BTW... It is suggested with the gel implants to have an MRI done every 2-3 years to make sure of now leaks.
