Well bros, tom. starts my 14th week of fina, I dropped the prop after week 12. In week 15 I think I'm going to drop the fina and run EQ @ 600mgs ew and Anavar @ 60mgs ed for 8 weeks. My ?, I've been stuck at 7% BF for about a month and its getting very difficult to go any lower w/o cardio. My goal is to get 5% by July and I'm wondering if T-3 @ 50mcgs ed would be effective for me?

PS, I could do cardio-but thats another thing on my already tight schedule. My current stats are 6'1/2" 208, 7-7.5% BF. I recently started fighting MMA(MIxed Martial Arts) again and will eventually have to add cardio before I begin competition. I fight as a Lt Hvy Wt. so I'm about maxed out on size. I would like to add a lil more muscle, drop BF and stay at the same wt.

Thanks in advance,

CoachK

T-3 after a cycle is not a good ideal, could cause muscle loss. Here is what I would do and actually do, Use Yohimbine HCI along with 1 mg a day of armidex. Its will help with the burning of estrogenic fat, If you can find it add about 500mg of usnic acid to this and it gets even better.- Superfrk

T-3 should help you. I discovered DNP and that stuff is amazing. Unlike T-3, DNP is muscle sparing.

I will be on 600mgs of EQ ew and 60mgs of Anavar while using the T-3.

If you want to lose Bf, you shouldn't depend on drugs to do it. The drugs we use should be used to aid in our training efforts, not replace training all together. If you are going to have to start doing cardio, why take the T3 at all? Just start doing cardio now and you will lose the Bf. Good luck on reaching your goals bro, keep us informed. Later

good point,

Cardio is the base for my BF losses. add in resistance training and a well thought out diet and you will see the fat melt off

get a heart monitor and get your ass on a treadmill or something
if you dont want to spend the money for one, use the talk test

talk test

if you can talk to someone just fine but you cannot sing a song, you are burning fat.

I was shocked at how low the workout is to burn the most fat, i thought i had to run full speed and try and kil myself

Its a very common method to check your heart rate if your not able to buy a heart monitor.

excess post recovery oxygen consumption EPOC... = the body burning more calories following the exercise then before it was started... consider it an after burn .. kinda like your car how it gets hotter after you shut it off. the body must utilize amounts odf O2 to replenish energy supplies, lower tissue temp, and return body to resting state..
the higher intenstiy of the workout.. the higher the EPOC..

with this in mind.. try to maintain a rest between sets of 30 sec.. not more.. this will keep the intestiy high..with keeping the heart rate elevated.. thus performing cardio training with out gettin on a treadmill. due to lack of time this may also be benificial for you by having you at the gym less total time.

Since this thread is still going, I'll give you guys an update. I'm currently running T-3 @ 75mcgs ed along with EQ(I started 9 days ago & am frontloading @ 1g a week for the 1st 2 weeks) 600mgs ew, winny @ 50mgs ed, & will start anavar @ 60mgs ed on Thurs. I currently am @ 203lbs and haven't had my BF tested. I will be starting cardio soon-its just been difficult to fit in my schedule w/ work, working out, and submission training. Things should die down soon and I'll have more time. Thanks for the replies.

Just curious, 5% is very lean already. Why do you want to drop further? Under 5% is in the physique competition range and is generally not sustainable for very long. To get down to say 3-4%bf, you'll need to stay pretty consistently calorie-negative, meaning your energy will be pretty low...not a state you'd want to train for a fight in....just my .02

CoachK,
#1) Fighting MMA and not doing cardio is impossible.
#2) Such a low bodyfat % will DEFINATELY hurt your training/competing.
Best of luck to you,
Choke

Choke, your right. MMA is impossible w/o cardio-but I do get some from training, its just hard to be consistent rt. now w/ my schedule the way that it is. I don't fight competitively until Oct. So I still have plenty of time to begin cardio.
