Antibodies and Protein? Neil Hill

Interesting blurb from Neil Hill in this months Flex magazine..

You noted that your athletes' diets are full of variation, as opposed to the standard chicken and rice bodybuilding diet. Why do you do this, is it just so your athletes don't get bored?

"Enjoying your meals is something I feel is very important, which is one of the reasons there is so much variation in my diets. However, the biggest reason is that if you stick to one protein source, your body is going to get only one amino acid profile. Over time, the body can build antibodies that will make it more resistant to absorbing the protein from your food. By keeping your body guessing, you will assimilate more of the nutrients, and I believe that a greater range of amino acid profiles can only be a good thing for recovery"
