Tainted NBA Playoffs??

Does anyone feel like the legitment best teams aren't in it this year due to injuries? I mean Chicago lost Rose, Orlando lost Howard, Miami lost Bosh, and Boston lost Ray Allen for some time, but he's been playing a little in the playoffs. But do you guys also feel like it's not as competitive or as fun to watch without these stars playing? I understand injuries are part of the game and you can't take anything away from the team that wins it all, but it feels like it's tainted a bit to me.

Well I think you answered your own question--- coming out of the regular season, there were many injured stars there were a lot of back to backs and more back to back to back games.
Teams like the Spurs, who had been injured in the past two seasons, stayed healthy because Pop managed their time efficiently and sometimes sacrificed a game or two to keep to that.
Other teams did not.

And Harness are the new up and coming..but I do agree with ya Wv and I'm sick of the ball hog Kobe, he forgets he plays on a team of five..

I hate Kobe and I know he's a good player, but I don't think he's anywhere near the player Jordan was and that's a very huge debate I know

Just like MMX said and I said a while back, if coaches don't handle players correctly in a season like this players WILL get hurt. Roses injury wasn't caused by overuse IMO though, that was a freak thing! Pop in SA should go down as one of the all time greats if he pulls off a championship this season! I'm watching them now and they are well oiled machine. OKC and SA will be a great BASKETBALL series.

OKC rocked the lakers .. World piece a crap and Kobe can now go home.. Spurs will be tough... That will be an excellent series.

I'm really looking forward to the Celtic/heat series, assuming celtics win Sunday. I think the clerics will give the heat more problems and would love for the heat to lose!

If the Celtics can recoop tomorrow and pull it out it will be a great series to watch between them and the Heat
