Second half of MLB...

With the first half in the books, who do you all think is going to come out on fire or who's going to continue their first half pace?

I love the BoSox and the Pirates and I must say that it's quite surprising that one of them is in last and one is in first. Never would've thought it'd be the Pirates in first and the BoSox in last though.

The Pirates are having an amazing season especially considering they have such a young team, but their pitching has kept them in a lot of games early on in the season and the hitting has pushed them into first in the later part of the season so far.

It's easy to say the BoSox have been injured, but they're not performing as a team in general. It's good to see Ellsbury, Middlebrooks, Buchholz and Gonzalez all back after the break, but we still need some more pitching and some big bats to arise.

With all of that said, I think Boston will turn it around, I don't think the Nationals will stay on the pace they're on, nor do I see the Pirates staying hot either. The Yankees will probably keep it up to a degree, the Giants and the Rangers should make good runs too.

I predict the 5 teams from each side in the playoffs will be....Boston, Baltimore, Texas, Yankees, Detroit....Braves, Cards, Reds, Giants, Dodgers
