I ordered from Amazon Halo for Her and Advanced Cycle Support by Iron Mag Labs. It is due to arrive today, so I thought I'd get this thing started.

I'm 5'1" (and a half according to the NPC). This morning I weighed in at 113.4 lbs, but I'm typically around 111. (Last night's dinner consisted of 3 Jack and Cokes and fried food.) I don't do body fat % tests, but I'm rather smooth right now. I competed in two shows in June, the first in bikini (came in too hard, at least for that local show), and the second show in figure (still not enough muscle, and probably not as hard as the bikini show due to outside stressors during peak weak).

I'm looking to build some good, dense muscle. I love the look of women's physique, but at the moment, I'm not planning to compete again for a while, if ever. I've decided that I'm going to look how I want, and if that makes me competitive on stage, so be it.

I haven't been logging all my workouts lately, but here are a few starting numbers from this week (all 5 x 5 format):

Hack squats: 180
Leg press: 180
Lying leg curl: 90
Standing calf raise: 120-140 depending on the day
Shoulder press: 25
Lateral raise: a wimpy 10
Rear delt fly (cable): 7
Skull crushers: 45
Pushdowns: 42.5
Alt curls: 20-22.5
Chest fly: 22.5

My strength going up should be the easiest to measure, so I'll be keeping good logs of each workout. I'll try to take a few progress shots along the way, too. Diet hasn't been great lately, but I'm going to clean it up as part of this Halo thing. And cardio is sporadic at best right now.

I'm starting with 1 capsule (10mg) once a day for a week. Then I'll go up to 2 (AM and PM) and see where that gets me. Probably somewhat conservative, but I'm a newbie, so taking it slow.

One question for you vets, do I take ACS at the same time as H4H? Or do I need to wait a few hours?
 
Honestly I would bump up to 2 pills after your first week. You have a lot more experience working out than what my wife had and she got major gains when she jumped to 2 pills and by that time her workouts were really consistent. If you are hitting it hard, I'd jump to 2 pills at least at half the recommended time, meaning around the end of week two. I had Cindee start with milk thistle about a 2 weeks prior to starting then she switched to ACS when it came in. If you run to your local pharmacy or vitamin supplier pick up some milk thistle or liv 52 (very inexpensive) and if you can take that for at least week.

As far as when to take it it doesn't matter IMO. Again, H4H is pretty mild though.

Thanks, Buffalo. Do you mean 2 pills twice a day? Or one in the morning and one at night, which was what I had in mind, after week 1?

Cindee took 2 pills once a day so I would see how you see results after one pill and if you don't see any negative effects (unlikely) just add two pills after the first week. You should see changes after the first week though. We didn't notice strength gains right away but loss of fat and more lean muscle look.

OK. Thanks. I understand now. I'm excited to get going, especially to see a little fat loss before we go on vacation in 3 weeks. I'm happy with where my body is now, but I know it could be much better.

Day 2- I took 1 capsule of each H4H and ACS this morning before breakfast. Still feel the same as usual. I wasn't expecting anything at this point, so I'm glad I'm tolerating the small dose.

My diet today has been nice and clean, and I walked for 30 minutes on my lunch break. I usually run bleachers a couple days a week, but it was too damn hot today.

Trained back and bis last night (5 sets of 5):

Wide grip pulldowns- 70 lbs
One-arm DB rows- 40
Straight arm pulldowns- 40
Low rows (Hammer Strength)- 45 each side
BB curls- 20 on an EZ
Pinwheel curls- 20

I'm excited to get up to 20mg next week. Can't wait to see what changes are in store. :show:
 
Day 4- bumped it up to 2 capsules today. No visible changes. I'm still working on the diet. It seems like I do well during the day, but in the evening, all my resolve is gone. Normally, I'm just stressed out and looking for an outlet. Last night, I was legit hungry.

Haven't been to the gym. Might hit legs later today.
 
It did mess with Cindee's sleep. She works graveyard so it is already jacked up but it made it hard for her to get restful sleep. This was deep into the cycle though.

Props to her for working nights. I'd be INSANE. I thought H4H might mess with it at some point, so thanks for the heads up.

Ended up hitting shoulders and calves today, not legs. Went up 2.5 pounds on DB presses, lateral raises, and Arnolds. Not sure if it's from the H4H or because I haven't done shoulders in prolly 10 or 12 days.

DB presses: 27.5 lbs
Lateral raises: 12.5
Arnolds: 12.5
RD cable flyes: 7
Standing calf raises: 120
Seated calf raises: 40
 
How are things going?

Going well. I'm still at 20mg. I ran stairs yesterday, but didn't weight train. Legs are on the schedule tonight.

Dare I say I'm getting a little more definition in my arms and abs this early? I'd like to say it was from eating 100% clean, but it wouldn't be true. If it's happening this fast, I can only imagine what gains the whole cycle will bring. And I've gotta some pictures to mark my progress.

No increase in vascularity yet, but no sides either. I've had some mild headaches, but I get those anyway, so I'm not going to say they are related. I haven't felt an increase in blood pressure or anything like that.

Overall, I'm happy with H4H so far. I'll check-in after my leg work to tell if I was able to increase any weights.
 
she did get head aches too but I wouldn't say it was from H4H, more due to the lack of sleep. Cindee noticed the most when she hit 20mgs. Not so much abs but arms and legs were sexy as hell lol

I haven't had any trouble at all sleeping...more like trouble staying awake right now.

LOL. Sexy as hell is a damn fine compliment to your wife.
 
Day 6- 20 mgs. No side effects at this point.

I split legs up, so I just did hams and seated calf raises last night.

2 x 40 Walking lunges with 70 lbs of chain over my shoulders (glutes were on fire)

5x5 of-
SLDL: 70 lbs on an Olympic bar (my body weight. YAY!)
Kneeling leg curls: 55 lbs (first for these. Usually do 90# lying.)

5x10 of-
Seated calf raises: 45 lbs (an increase of 5. Another yay!)

Just ran stairs for about 25 minutes (yeah, not all RUNNING). Diet is about 80% clean. Abs feel a little soft today. Probably holding water because of TOM.
 
i'll be following this too...last night i convinced my gf to get halo for her since she's not wanting research chems and/or the real deal...
