I know you people really don't want to hear it but I feel like shit!! I haven't been in the gym, since Thursday of last week and I'm hating every minute. Well I did run on the treadmill yesterday...but that just wasn't enough. I guess I'm just having one of those FAT days. I feel so freakin bloated...I'm just angry about this. I was doing sooooooo good then BAM!!! just like that....I screwed it all up!!! Don't you just hate that????? And to top it off I think I'm coming down with something cause my throat hurts like hell!!! :mad:
 
I think we all get down on ourselves like that some times,missing one week won't make you fat and there is nothing wrong with taking a little break. Your missing that endorphin buzz probably as much as anything. Things will come around!! Stay positive!!!

I don't know where ure at, but be careful, there is a lot of stuff going around like the flu and strep throat....3 of my students missed hip hop class today b/c they were sick....Keep those germs away!!
 
Those days have been common for myself lately, the fastest method to recovery is hitting the gym and fealing those great pumps...at least it works for me!
 
Hey sweetie.. I know the feeling I have been out for 8 weeks.. Keep your head up =0) and I hope u feel better:cool:

Sounds like me after I have an injury that keeps me out of commission for awhile. I just try not to think about it tomauch and just think how hard I am going to be hitting the weight room soon.
 
Thanks Everyone!! But do you know what??? Today I feel even worse...my nose is just dripping, my throat is still hurting like hell, I have been sneezing all day, my chest feels tight, I'm coughing up phlem(sp) and my body is starting to ache!!! This blows!!!. I think I caught the bug that has been going around!! And tomorrow I have an interview....oh man:(

Take some tylenall flu they have a night time version and you can get some sleep. That stuff works great and take the day version for the interview and you will still feel a little bad but you will make it for a good 4 hrs befor you start to feel to bad again and come home and crash. good luck.

I'm hanging in there, just trying to rest....I guess being on the computer is resting....LOL!! Thanks for the concern!
 
SF.. how you doing sweetie.. been a few.. hope you are feeling better... just give it a few days.. get that PR hinny back to the gym when you feel ready... and you... your not fat... whats wrong with you.. girl do i need to smack you silly ;) ...
we all have those days.. you can let a few go.. and then get back.. you know as well as i once you are RECOVERED.. and BACK.. you will start to feel great all over again..

whenever im feeling ruff or sick or even a slight injury comming onI take a break somtimes for up to three days today is the third day and I feel like shit but sson i will eat meal number two and ill be on my way to the gym, im going to the beach and theres nothing like the looks I get when im pumped up at the beach. I saw youre pics youre in great shape youll be fine try taking a break from time to time. Remember we have to listen to our body not our ego.Good luck
 
I definitely needed the rest. I felt so much stronger when I got back into the gym. I have had nothing but great workouts since. Sometimes I get all weird about taking a few days break from training but after I do break and get back in there I'm always happy that I rested:)
