Post surgery...

Hey, I have a quick question....
A friend of mine is recovering from surgery and has gained a lot of water weight and whatnot from the surgery and medication. However, the meds are finished and she is looking for something to help her get her shape back....any suggestions?!

eat clean and be careful on the workouts until she's back to being 110% then try some things that will help her build the body she wants.. in my humbled opion..IMHO

Ought to get back into the gym first and build from scratch. Maybe go on the enhancers after a little while of just getting back into the groove of things.

WELL, WHAT KIND OF SURGERY DID SHE HAVE....IF YOU DON'T MIND ME ASKING...IT COULD HAVE ALOT TO DO WITH WHAT KIND OF EXERCISE REGIMINE SHE WILL TAKE ON.......

GY...

Her appendix burst...so a severe apendectomy....she has lost a good amount of the gain so far by doing lots of cardio (she isn't into weights at all...doesnt even know how to use most machines)...but she still complains because she still has a little "pouch".
Someone actually asked her how far along she was and when she was due!!!

OH MY! Someone asked her when she was due? As far has chages try to introduce her to weight lifting because the more muscle one haves the more calories are burned.

I would have to agree with Gear101 on this.....since she's just had surgery done....she should concentrate on eating good and clean...and making sure she's able to work out at 100%..I would have her stick with the cardio....but at the same time...do some weight lifting also....since she wants to get rid of the "pouch" she should concentrate on doing the ab workouts....:)
