I am going to take some flack for typing this but I hate the way they squat. Looks like ten people are helping them balance and lift the weight. Takes away from the accomplishment IMO.

The other lifts dont get any cleaner. I've met him in person. He is a giant human being. Was a very nice guy. His size made me look like I was in third grade and never lifted a weight in my life.

his deadlift didnt look bad to me, i mean he got stuck a bit but kept moving, and to be honest i didnt see anyone touch the bar when he was squatting (the 2nd attempt) i dont much care for their squating form but when you got 800 pounds on your back what are you gona do.

I agree but I am half of Stans size, and I've squat 595 to the floor with no knee wraps, no lifting suit and only a belt. I didn't even have a spotter. Just someone watching me. I didn't have any kind of high speed rack to take the weight. Just a normal old squat rack. That's what I'd like to see.

Squat 800 pounds that way.

His other lifts were clean. The deadlift he kept moving and got it to the top clean. He could have benched more.

The other thread with the black guy benching 525 clean is more impressive to me.

I'm not a fan of the monolift squat rack either. I'd rather see them have to walk the weight out. I think it's more impressive to walk it out and have to walk it back in rather than just get under it and then have it racked as soon as you reach the top. Walking out that much weight requires more movement which makes it harder to accomplish in my opinion.

I've powerlifted in the past and used a monolift and I hated it. I'd much rather have normal squat stilts and walk it out, get set, squat and then re-rack it for the lift to count.
