The story i posted below, but Sports Center said this fools DADDY called up the team and told them they need to cater to his son more, lol. Audacity!

The father of Washington Redskins star quarterback Robert Griffin III believes the team needs to create a game plan that features his son throwing more and running less.

Griffin was knocked out the Redskins last game with a torn ACL and has spent much of his offseason rehabilitating, apparently prompting his father to also take a close, hard look at what approach might now be best for his son.

"I just know that based on what I know Robert can do, he doesn't have to be a runner as much as I saw last year," Griffin Jr. told The Washington Post. "To me, you're paying these receivers a lot of money to catch the football. I'm his dad -- I want him throwing that football, a lot. A lot."

RGIII is on record as saying he plans to be back by Week 1 and last month thrilled fans with proof of his progress by doing jumping jacks at the team’s draft event. Last season the rookie quarterback ran for 815 yards on 120 carries in the Redskins’ zone-read offense.

Griffin Jr. also told The Post his son has already talked to coach Mike Shanahan and his son and team offensive coordinator, Kyle Shanahan about his concerns with the offense.

"I think for Robert, he likes some of the things that they do,” Griffin Jr. told the newspaper. “And he feels any area where he had a concern, he addressed it. And I think the Shanahans have concerns, too. We want to have a united community. That first year everybody was just, 'Wow.' And now we have to look at sustainment. It can't be a 'Wow' again."
