whats the best filter pvdf or nylon?

I've used PVDF, PES, and Nylon.
Nylon is my favorite for filtering a solution with heavy solvent concentrations, been having a hard time getting a hold of these lately.
PVDF is great for oils but doesn't do as well with solvents.
PES is great for water based and will work for other solutions just not as well.

i have used a whatman filter in the past...dont know if that helps..sorry as i dont know the difference..

(PolyVinyliDene Fluoride) PVDF, I like Nylon as they will take higher solvent Ratios, but PVDS works great too, used in a lot of pharmaceutical applications.

I use 0.2um, whatman for small stuff 10-20 ml, with a caulk gun, I'm thinking of making my own Syringe Press for this application, and for larger volumes Nylon full unit filter 0.2um, with vacuum pump. Easy as pie.
its first choice for high BB gear and pure EO gear. PTFE is one of most resistance material so if you want to be sure BB or EO does not effect your filter- choose PTFE. And still be sure the filter housing is Polypropylene or PTFE same

I've used PES also, I think they flow faster and easier set up, look at autoflow, may give you an idea. And most will say those are water based only, but when doing 250-500 ml, they hold up well,
