MC's IGF Shelf Life

I know there have been questions about this in the past and I just wanted to add some recent observations. I am using some IGF that I received well over a year ago, back when I was a Muscle Chemistry site rep. This stuff is still amazing. I've been running 60 mcgs (30 per side) mostly applied to my triceps and the pumps are killer. I get pumped so fast that it hurts. But, my main point was that I received this batch about 15 months ago and have kept it in the fridge, using off and on, and it is still very potent stuff. I love MC's IGF!

Storage
The stability of a liquid solution of LR3IGF-I was monitored for a period of two years at storage conditions of -20 C, +4 C, +22 C, and +37 C. The final concentration of LR3IGF-I was in acetic acid. At various time points, samples were taken and compared to a lyophilized control (stored at 4 C). Listed below are the stability results for each respective storage condition.
Storage Condition: -20 C (-4 F)
Biological Potency No Change up to 2 years
Immunological Activity No Change up to 2 years
Mobility of Protein No Change up to 2 years
Elution Profile by reversed phased HPLC No Change up to 2 years
Storage Condition: +4 C (39.2 F)
Biological Potency No Change up to 2 years
Immunological Activity No Change up to 2 years
Mobility of Protein No Change up to 2 years
Elution Profile by reversed phased HPLC No Change up to 2 years
Storage Condition: +22 C (71.6 F)
Biological Potency No Change up to 2 years
Immunological Activity No Change up to 2 years
Mobility of Protein No Change up to 2 years
Elution Profile by reversed phased HPLC No Change up to 2 years
Storage Condition: +37 C (98.6 F)
Biological Potency No Change up to 1 year
Immunological Activity No Change up to 1 year
Mobility of Protein No Change up to 1 year
Elution Profile by reversed phased HPLC No Change up to 1 year
In conclusion
There is no significant difference in the potency of LR3IGF-I associated with the storage of the liquid formulation when stored at this range of temperatures. There is no evidence for loss of biological activity at any of the tested temperatures when stored as a liquid product. As you can see IGF can be quite stable for even a year at room temp, but if you want to keep it around for a while stick it into the fridge. So IMO the best way to store LR3 that is suspended in BA is in the freezer. The BA wont allow it to freeze. And if you have it suspended in AA, store it in the fridge.

Appreciate your sharing brutha! I don't know that I could have looked it every day in fridge for a year and not wanted to use it lol that's will power!!!

I've had the same experience with a vial that had rolled down to the back of the fridge and was back there for at least a year before I reclaimed it and it was just as potent as if it just arrived.

So you either had so many that you didn't realize it was missing or your fridge is so big you were too lazy to dig it out lol too funny either way

Actually I thought my mother in law tossed when she cleaned out the fridge! I was thinking it's nice that she cleaned out the fridge but shit it wasn't worth loosing a vial of IGF!

I have a good friend that came over last week after a trip to the doctor ,doctor said that you have no cartilage in your right shoulder so your running on bone on bone and nothing will help you your pains in your angle and hip are the same sorry bud deal with the pain ,well I decided to play Doctor with MC IGF and after 2 days he feels 90 % better so in the next 9 months or so I hope the cells split and regrow for him if it works its truly a miracle.... I will post an update in time.....so far 4 days and he's loving it
