MLB 1 game Wild Card games...

I think this is the dumbest shit they could've come up with. You have to play a one game playoff to make it to the Divisional Series, but you have to basically use your best pitcher in this game which in a sense handicaps you going into the Divisional Series. Take for example Pittsburgh, we are using our best pitcher (Liriano) against the Reds which means our #2 pitcher to go against the other teams #1 pitcher IF we even make it to that point. So you in a sense start that next series in an 0-1 hole. I know it won't always happen that way, but more times than not it will. I just think you should either leave it as a 1 team wild card or at least have them play a 3 game series instead of this 1 game crap

Baseball sucks! The game lost its appeal when they lost their long ball!

It's not as exciting as it was when Bonds, McGuire and Sosa were blasting them on a nightly basis, but now it seems like the teams actually have to play fundamental baseball which to me is as enjoyable. But if you are just looking for those monster shots night in and night out then, yes it has little to no appeal to anyone who doesn't just love the game itself
