Coconut oil as carrier?

Any one used refined coconut oil as carrier? I have used GSO oil before but heard of UGs using coconut oil and had a site that sells it. Any negatives to using it. I want to take it anyway so figure why not use it, plus it's cheaper than GSO not that I care about the money.

i dont know bro, do people have an allergy to coconut oil like they do with peanut oil? I know i wouldnt mess with it, Now I know safflour oil is a good carrier and thinner then gso and cheaper to, but not sure about coconut brutha, i dont think i would mess with it
 
Certain fractions of coconut oil are good for brewing and will hold hormones at a higher amount than GSO or CSO. I've never used coconut oil in gear but have used avocado and like it much more than GSO or CSO. I've heard good things from the people who have used coconut oil with gear though. Also I'm not sure on this but would think the solvents(ba, bb, eo) would be enough to keep coconut oil liquid at room temperature. If not, you could simply hold the vial in your hand until it was over 78 degrees and you'd be fine.

Part of the reason pharmaceutical companies don't change their carrier oil is they would need to prove it safe meaning a new round of trials which are expensive. Since they can't patent injectable test there isn't enough money in it for them to switch to a different carrier. Whats used by pharma isn't always best today though it may have been at the time of creation.

choose castor (ricin) oil- its best carrier and has outstanding properties when holding hormone in depot without turning it in crystals
coconut oil could be very similar as it has higher viscosity than simple oil and should have similar properties as castor oil. But for sure you need to add BB and EO to it to make it at least filterable :)

i do think you mean MCT oil?
yes this oil is used by some UG laboratories due to its low viscosity and ability to carry pretty big amounts of hormone without crashing.
There are some doubts that this oil should be used only for Synthol but if you do some research you could find that Indian companies uses it to suspend tetosterone etc, but in those cases they use the proportions 2:1 of MCT:Castor oil etc.
 
I believe that is correct ChemMan. They remove the lauric acid from it. Leaving only unsaturated fat left.
Also it has an indefinite shelf-life.

Does anyone know how much Test E, MCT Coconut Oil can carry without other solvents?

i think in this case only trial/error method will help to answer this question.
Experiments with MTC oil is not widely spread but you could see what literature writes:

Molar solubility of Testosterone propionate in Castor oil = 0.078.
Molar solubility of Testosterone propionate in MCT oil = 0.038.
Molar solubility of Testosterone propionate in MCT oil and Castor oil mix (2:1/ v:v= in other words 66.6% MCT oil and 33.3% of Castor oil) = 0.081

It can be calculated from a substance's solubility product constant (K[SUB]sp[/SUB]) and stoichiometry. The units are mol/L, sometimes written as M"

What it shows is that even though MCT oil is not yield perfect solubility itself- when mixed with other vegetable oils it could in fact increase or at least keep the same solubility level as using only vegetable oil. So in case you planning to use MCT oil- make sure to use some other oil in conjunction with it to avoid unexpected crashing of products.
