Blood Donation

Hello! Quick question for all of you...

My local blood bank has been calling me once a week, asking me to come in to donate blood as I am O-, and a rare type. Before my run of Deca, which ended two months ago, I donated every six weeks.

My question is this: Is it 'safe' for me to donate now, without the risk of getting 'in trouble' for my Deca experiences?

Thanks for your help!

hard to say.....if u like donating blood and want to continue...i would wait...as u can b helping a lot of people with that type of blood.....and if something comes up being wrong...this could ruin it permanently.

Well, I'm really not sure how long you should wait,,,,,,do they screen for steroid use....or just look for diseases? Deca can show up in a drug screen for a year (or longer). But I doubt that they are running those types of tests on it. If it were me, I would probably wait for a few months or so, let my body get back to normal levels.

i'm a three gallon donor of blood and have O- too.. they call all the time.. i just won'tgive blood if i'm on.. hate to give someone bliood and watch it kill them because of the gear..

3 months, my ass!
Listen, missy, if you've been off for 3 months, then I'VE been off for almost 4! And I can start my next run! I seem to recall watching you drill yourself with your final hit of Deca whilst I sat there like a fart on a bump on lump on a log because my gear was all gone.

I think you've been shaving too many inches off your high heel, if you know what I mean!

How about this... find a payphone (they still have those, you know) and make an anonymous call to the local blood bank and ask them if you can give blood having recently done some 'roids. If they start asking too many questions, you hang up and wipe your fingerprints off the phone.

I may have some interesting to say. When I went to DR. JEKOT in the valley when it was legal he would ask me if I would donate blood. BTW, he was my roid Doc. He asked If I took asperin, and I replied yes. He said its no good to him If I took asperin. He replied that he was interested in my platlettes.
