[h=1]Steroid Site Injections for Increasing Muscle Size

FEBRUARY 3, 2014
BY BILL ROBERTS [/h]Q: “Does site injection work? How do I do it?”

A: Particularly in small muscles, there can be a substantial increase in size from site injection. The improvement can last for months since the last injection.

It seems unlikely that the reason is increased action at the muscle of the injected steroid. Instead, the benefit is from the volume of injected oil. Aside from the pharmacological reasons from this, practical evidence comes from the fact that results clearly depend on the amount of oil injected rather than the milligram amount of steroid injected. For this reason, low concentration preparations such as 25-100 mg/mL are usually preferred for site injection. But higher concentrations can be used.

Site injection is done using an insulin syringe with a half-inch needle. One mL per muscle head per day of injection is sufficient. Some divide this into smaller injections, for example two injections of 0.5 mL per muscle head, but I don’t think this is necessary.

Ordinarily, injections will be every other day or daily.

Aim more for the belly of the muscle rather than close to the edges or the ends. In particular avoid the area on the inside of the arm near the division between the biceps and triceps, and the area near the division between the long and lateral heads of the triceps. The pecs are a dangerous area for injection: I recommend against injecting there. For the delts, again the chosen sites should be in the muscle bellies. In particular with the front delt, avoid going anywhere at all near the inner or lower edge.

Site injection of the calves can be done successfully but tends to be painful to very painful. If trying calves, again go for the area of the muscle bellies. Avoid injecting anywhere that is at all close to the back of the knee.

Try to inject in at least slightly different locations each time, rather than always hitting the same spots.

Site injection can easily yield an extra half an inch in size, which you may well find to be worth the trouble.

Although I’m convinced that the effect comes simply from the oil, the effect is quite different than with synthetic oil. The synthetic products give a blatantly unnatural effect, whereas site injection with vegetable-oil-based steroid preparations gives a completely natural effect.

At the moment I’d recommend using vegetable-oil-based preparations instead of ethyl oleate-based preparations. This is simply from my knowing that the first works well, but not knowing it for the second. It’s possible that ethyl oleate might clear the injected area much more rapidly than vegetable oil does.

I just have quarter sized knotts on both sides from pin after pin. I have to soak in hot water damn near every day just for maintenance. Going to start using the thighs for a while and hopefully I will still be able to walk haha..

You don't need a slin pin at all. I've used 23g in bis, tris, delts and including pecs.

When I was shooting primarily in shoulders I noticed a substantial increase in size there, but I believe it was primarily scar tissue
