Is it normal for lets say a 200ml brew to be slightly over?

For example 200ml of deca to 10-20ml over once poured in media bottle.

i would think the powder would displace some fluid, so if you are making 200ml and you put 200ml then the powder you would have over because you didnt account for the added volume of the product.

bump for answers, i am not versed in this subject

I actually put 123ml oil, 4ml ba and 30 ml bb. I had my bb/ba at 15/2% on the calculator. I was making 200ml of 250mg/ml deca.

It's normal. Usually people are over like 1-2ml per 50ml. I'm guessing you used .85 as your weight. Deca is actually .62 -.65 You should have used 135ml of oil. Your brew is actually like 266mg per ml and it's a little thicker. You may have slight PIP. Let us know. And maybe my calculations are off someone else chime in... :fyi:

I think you might be right, I've noticed this recipe hasn't held in the solution it just crystallises when left to settle.
I have to throw it now as it's unusable.

just add more oil?!!! don't throw it out Or you can just heat it up a little before you pinn.... Your body is 98 degrees that final solution is not that far off. If you pin it warm you will probably not even notice it.
