Hi all! Just had a cholesterol test done.........in the past year it has rocketed to 320(ldl)(was 265) body fat 2 % higher now. Now me being 30 yrs, old the good doctor wants to get this down with lipitor. I know from my little bit of researsch that lipitor is hepatoxic and results in regular liver tests. I did nt explain to the good doctor that 8 weeks ago I had done a Winnie and Tren cycle. Is anybody on lipitor or any other kind of cholesterol med? Is there anything besides milk thisle and ala to "condition"my liver if I were to take this with a cycle? Any feedback would be helpful

The hepatotoxic potential for all the statin drugs that lower cholesterol by acting as HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, like lipitor, is minimal but not negligable. The majority of cholesterol in your blood is synthesized in the liver so thats where the drug works. There is generally an inital liver panel, that is repeated at 12 weeks and then periodically thereafter. Alcohol worsens the potential. There are minimal if any side effects in most folks on Lipitor.
Winstrol is the WORST at elevating cholesterol, reducing HDL and increasing LDL levels. After researching the subject,I personally will never do winstrol again for this reason. There are animal studies showing short courses of winstrol leading to significant blockage of coronary arteries and human studies showing an increased risk of heart attack. Lipitor can counter some of the effects. I know a few people who use it that way with sucess.

Thanks for the info! This explains what happened to my ldl count.
Once again this is a great board for logical and factual info!!!:)

So what you are saying is if you are going to do Winnie, and you can get your hands on some Lipitor, do it to it -right?

Run Nolvadex or Clomid through the whole cycle, that's all. As the estrogens in liver they will greatly improve your lipid profile.

It's really important to stick to a clean diet too. Most people use winny when cutting, but not everone stays clean on the diet. Eat plenty of fibre and say "no" to any kind of trans fats...eat plenty of salmon, use olive oil and flax oil. When you do cardio, up it to 80%+ of max heart rate, as this significantly helps reduce cholesterol.
