Capping Oral Powders: Researching Devices and Methods

Austin, how many mg do you need to cap? If just like 10-100 use #4 size with bulker. I use micronized creatine or glutamine. Jackasses use sugar. If larger like a 0 or 00 size I have a source for the machine for you. Well either size. Unfortunately one source make the best #4 and another the best # 0 ect...

I am also one of the jackasses that uses sugar as filler...dextrose. It is the easiest to work with, blends very well, and doesn't cake up during the mixing process. I tried creatine but feel dextrose leads to the most homogenous mixture for me.
Don't over complicate things with densities and whatnot. If you have too much powder just tamp it more and use a little less filler next time. I fill one cap with filler, than weigh the filler out and multiply by the number of caps in the machine. Subtract the active powder amount and there you go, filler weight + powder. You will see very quickly how easy it is and laugh about how complicated some ppl make it

Naw it's easy. The most time consuming part is filling the cap machine with empty caps!
Get those colored caps from med-lab and they look real good!

I use beta-alanine I have to crush it a little first because the granule size is kind of large. Call me crazy but feels like the active ingredient gets in the blood fast.

Why do you need to see them?
When you doing 1000+ do you know how many times I tried to stick a cap where one was already.

A when you mix a batch doesn't the more granular powder sink to the bottom and mess up dosing?

Thats why I crush it first. Once crushed it's not an issue. Also if you don't crush the more granular stuff it makes your initial calculations not as accurate. Beta alanine is also a very expensive filler but like I said I feel it works better. My theory may be wrong about beta alanine but I will stick with using it till I know for sure.

Capping is always a pain in the a$$. You cannot guarantee consistency with caps, it all comes down to the filler material. I used to use rice flour with dbol, and sucralose with winny and truvia with var. These seemed to work best for me when mixed consistently. You should already know how to measure the weight of each cap/average then fill them and base an average of 5 weights then add your base and filler. there a lot of math to it, but if you thoroughly mix it well with your filler and the filler is appropriate to mix sufficiently then capping can be relatively accurate.
I capped 500 once and ran an offset of +5 to -8..not bad but not as accurate as my anal retentive personality will allow.

Sometimes I get totally anal and weigh each 100mg and divide it from there in 50mg doses individually capping with no filler. Now who is the most anal about accurate dosing?? LMAO!!!
Simple method. Get a capping machine. Get on ebay and buy micro mg scoops or type in mg scoops. They come in varying sizes and honestly are accurate but you have to test the accuracy fir each compound and load up the bottom caps in your machine, use tge scoop to fill each. Trust me it goes a lot faster than u would think. Then j add glutamine after as a filler the add the tops.
There is s formula to figure your dosing but in general the smaller the batch the more accurate so I just use to figure how much filler it would take to fill each including tamping twice. Then I would just take out the amount of filler that I needed for my compound like 1.5g for 60 cap machine. It's not the most accurate way but close. Then spend $30 on s coffee beans grinder or a burr mill. With a coffee bean grinder I would add 1/2 my glutamine filler which is easy to work with and the all my compound then pour in the rest of my filler and blend it in the coffee bean grinder for about a minute. I would typically hold the button down for about 20 seconds at a time, then let off. The motors in them can burn up easily but with this use its not putting any real strain on the motor because it's not chopping a solid. But it does a pretty good job of evenly mixing. I use to add a like blue lake color to it just to visually see it was all mixed then cap but I prefer the mg scoop method these days.
