TRIMATROPIN (somatropin [rDNA origin] for injection) is used as growth hormone therapy. TRIMATROPIN is produced using recombinant DNA technology, which produces a 191 amino acids single chain polypeptide hormone. TRIMATROPIN is therefore an identical exact copy of the growth hormone that is naturally produced in the body.

Growth Hormone therapy is used for over 20 years. New conditions in which growth hormone therapy may be beneficial are still being discovered. Some of the conditions already known have been treated with growth hormone therapy are as follows:

• Children with growth hormone deficiency (GHD)
• Adults with growth hormone deficiency (AGHD)
• Reverse effects of aging (Anti-Aging)
• Enhance weight loss in obesity
• Building muscle such as in Bodybuilding
• Girls with Turner syndrome
• Chronic renal failure
• Prader-Willi syndrome
• Idiopathic short stature
• Muscle mass wasting due to AIDS
• Short bowel syndrome
• Remission of Multiple sclerosis
• Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis

It is important however to emphasize that some of these conditions for treatment are still controversial and may not be formally approved. Some doctors may prescribe HGH for off label usage while others may stick to the guidelines given by their country's medical and health administration service. Even though some studies show very exciting uses for growth hormone therapy with lack of side effects. It may still take a long time for some of the conditions for therapy to be formally approved by each country's health administration services.Shanli maker of TRIMATROPIN recommends that you only follow your healthcare practitioner guidelines regarding the use of TRIMATROPIN. Professional medical supervision is mandatory for any purpose of using TRIMATROPIN.

Trimatropin (somatropin [rDNA] for injection) is growth hormone. Trimatropin comes as powder, in each vial there is 20iu (6.6mg) of powder which is usually caked at the bottom of the vial. Trimatropin needs to be prepared with a solvent before it can be injected.

• Children with growth hormone deficiency (GHD)
• Adults with growth hormone deficiency (AGHD)
• Reverse effects of aging (Anti-Aging)
• Enhance weight loss in obesity
• Building muscle such as in Bodybuilding

• Short bowel syndrome
• Remission of Multiple sclerosis
• Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis

Using Trimatropin for any of the above conditions including any other conditions requires a thorough check by a doctor. The fact that a condition is listed here does not mean anyone with the above condition can use Trimatropin. Some people, although having one of the above conditions may still not use Trimatropin as its use can be extremely dangerous is specific cases. Check with your doctor about your specific condition to check if Trimatropin is the right treatment for you.

Do not use Trimatropin if you are allergic to any of its ingredients

Growth hormone should not be used in patients with cancer or patients who are being treated for cancer. Brain tumors can cause Growth hormone deficiency; therefore it is important that a doctor rule out the presence of brain tumors before treatment with growth hormone begins. Growth hormone should not be used in case of brain tumors or in case a previous brain tumor has come back or is getting larger.

Consult with your doctor if you have had skin cancer or had skin cancer before, or if you are susceptible to skin cancer.

Special attention is needed for people with diabetes. Doctor should make necessary tests before allowing the patient to use growth hormone.

Growth hormone should not be used in patient with diabetes who have of eye problems. A doctor should rule out such problem in patients with diabetes before allowing them to use growth hormone.

Children with Prader-Willi syndrome should not use Growth hormone if they are extremely overweight or suffer from severe breathing problems.

Growth hormone should not be used to increase height in children after the growth plates have closed.

Growth hormone should generally not be used by people who are seriously ill or those that have had or about to have a large operation or be hospitalized for any reason. If you are using growth hormone you should always say that to all doctors that take care of you.

Talk with your doctor if you are taking any other medicines, especially hormone replacement therapy, thyroid hormones, steroids, anti-seizure medicines or ciclosporin.

Talk with your doctor if you have had problems with growth hormone therapy in the past.

Talk with your doctor if you are on a low sodium diet, as Trimatropin may contain a small amount of sodium.

The use of HGH or TRIMATROPIN for any other use than that suggested by your doctor is greatly discouraged.

This list is not a complete list of contraindications but just highlights. You should always check with your healthcare practitioner to see if growth hormone treatment is recommended according to your unique physical and medical profile.

Skin cancer or other skin disorders - A Dermatologist should perform a through physical examination to rule out any type of skin cancer or disorder before treatment of growth hormone is started. It is recommended that a thorough physical examination by a dermatologist be performed every several months to assure no skin cancer is observed. Patients with any kind of cancer including skin cancer should not use growth hormone. Those with a history of skin cancer or any other skin cancer should not use growth hormone unless directed and carefully monitored by a doctor.

Blood sugar - A test to see that body maintains stable blood sugar levels. Doctor should be notified if you start to pass large amounts of urine and are especially thirsty. Notify doctor if you feel tired, hungry and lost a considerable amount of weight.

Thyroid hormones - Levels of thyroid hormones should be checked. Tell your doctor if you feel tired, apathetic or depressed. If your weight has gone up, suffer from constipation or if there are changes in your voice or unusually dry skin and hair. These are some indicators of lowered thyroid hormone activity. If you feel more hungry than before, eat more yet still lose weight, have shakes or feel hotter and sweat more than usual. These are possible indicators of increased thyroid hormone activity. If you feel any of the above symptoms you should talk to your doctor.

Eyes - Eyes should be checked if you have severe headaches, eyesight problems or you are sick.

Prader-Willi syndrome - Checks for signs of upper airway obstructions, sleep apnoea or respiratory infection.

It may also depend on your age, gender and weight. The correct dose will be determined by your doctor.

Growth hormone deficiency in children - The usual dose is 0.1iu per kg of bodyweight administered daily. Sometimes doctor calculate the dose based on surface area in square metres rather than body weight.

Children small at birth - The usual dose is about 0.1iu per kg or 3iu per square meter.

Anti aging - Doses between 1iu to 4iu.

Adult growth hormone deficiency (aGHD) about 1iu to 3iu per day.

Turner syndrome or kidney failure - The usual dose is about 0.15iu per kg of bodyweight.

Children with Prader-Willi Syndrome - The usual dose are about 0.1iu per kg of bodyweight.

Adult patients treated during childhood - The usual dose to restart is about 1iu to 1.5 per day.

Aids and other severe muscle wasting diseases - The usual dose is 18iu per day.

Severe burns - Doses between 8iu to 24iu.

Your doctor should be able to determine to right dose of growth hormone for your treatment.

But it is always recommended to keep it cool in the refrigerator whenever possible.

Storage as powder (before reconstitution) - Trimatropin should be refrigerated and be kept away from direct light. The recommended temperature is 4 to 8 centigrade or 39 to 46 Fahrenheit.

Storage as liquid (after reconstitution) - After Trimatropin is blended with the solvent and becomes liquid, it must always be kept refrigerated and protected from light. It must also not be shaken or moved excessively as this may damage the delicate chemical structure of the HGH and form a foam or cloudy solution in the vial. Trimatropin in liquid form should be used within 3 days if blended with sterile water or to 14 days if blended with bacteriostatic water (sterile water with 0.9% benzoic acid). Always try to use prepared liquid Trimatropin as soon as possible.

Take out one vial of Trimatropin from the fridge.

Clean the solvent rubber stopper with an alcohol pad to keep sterility. Use a syringe to pull 2ml of solvent.

Take off Trimatropin black cap and clean the rubber stopper with an alcohol pad to keep sterility.

Hold the Trimatropin vial diagonally with one hand and with the other hand slowly injects the 2ml solvent onto side of the vial. Let the solvent slide down to the bottom of the vial. The solvent should enter slowly into the Trimatropin vial. It should never be injected forcefully directly on the powder as this may harm the growth hormone.

Allow the vial on the table for about 10 minutes occasionally swirling the vial and rotating upside down so the powder and solvent will blend together. This action should be done gently as not to harm the growth hormone.

When the Trimatropin liquid is completely mixed, with no particles it is ready to be used.

Wash your hands with soap before injection Trimatropin.

Clean the Trimatropin vial rubber stopper with an alcohol pad to keep sterility.

Use an insulin type syringe. These syringes come in 0.5ml (50U) or 1ml (100U). Slowly draw the required dose of Trimatropin into the syringe.

Use an alcohol pad to clean the skin at the injection site and let dry for a few seconds. Do not use injection sites win which you are wounded, feel pain or have lumps or bumps or the area is discolor.

Pinch the skin around the site, the preferred area is at the stomach area at navel level, about 3cm or more away from the navel to the right or left. Rotate injection sites daily.

Stick the needle into the skin. Inject using a slow steady push on the plunger until syringe is empty, wait 2 seconds and remove the needle from the skin. Immediately after removing the needle, lightly clean the injection site using an alcohol pad. Do not rub, rather slightly pet the area. Rubbing may damage the growth hormone and may also interfere with the natural absorption process of the growth hormone which should take a few hours. A small bump holding the growth hormone subcutaneously will appear and fade away after a few hours.

Allergic reaction - hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat. Call doctor immediately.

Prader-Willi syndrome patients - Call doctor immediately if you develop signs of lung or breathing problems such as shortness of breath, coughing, new or increased snoring.

Sudden and severe pain or tenderness in the upper stomach. Call doctor immediately.

Nausea, vomiting, sweating, fever, fast heartbeat, yellowing of the skin. Call doctor immediately.

Vision changes or sudden pain behind the eyes. Call doctor immediately.

The following side effects are generally considered less serious. Contact your doctor if you feel you experience one of them:

Increased thirst and urination - May be due to blood glucose levels which growth hormone may affect.

Swelling of head, face, hands or feet - Usually due to the increased water retention.

Numbness or tingling in hand, fingers or wrist - Usually due to the increased water retention in these areas which may pinch some nerves. Usually fades away with continued treatment or when dosages are lowered.

Headaches - Normally fades away.

Soreness, redness, skin rash, bruising or pain at the injection site. Normally fades away.

Joint pain, swelling or stiffness - Usually related to water retention. Usually fades with continued treatment or when dose is lowered and built up gradually.

If you feel any side effect you should turn to a doctor. You may experience some other side effects not listed here. In that case contact your doctor.
