Well, you've got a couple of options....

These will all require some sort of vaccum source...either a hand vaccum pump, or a motorized one, or, if you can get one, a good old water aspirator.

Pricy per use, but less worry about cleanliness/sterilization: Disposible sterile filtration units (EG: http://www.thermoscientific.com/en/...le-disposable-filter-units-sfca-membrane.html ) just one example...there are many suppliers out there. The units are supplied sterile, set up for vacuum filtration.

Expensive up front, but cheaper in the long run: Glass membrane filtration unit. (http://www.sterlitech.com/filter-holders/vacuum-filtration/all-glass-filtration-assemblies.html) again, just one supplier. These you have to clean and sterilize yourself...however the unit itself is reusable - just the filtration membrane is replaced, which is much cheaper. Harder to keep everything sterile, *but* the filter membranes are about $1 each....(http://www.sterlitech.com/filters/m...polyvinylidene-difluoride-pvdf-membranes.html) (for example)

If you were talking *really* high volume (Say, a high number of *litres/quarts* of material, a small piston or diaphragm pump and an either an in-line filtration cartridge or cartridge holder with replaceable cartridge would work, but the sterilization gets *much* more complex - trust me, I've worked with this in previous employment...it's doable, but takes time and a fair amount of attention to detail.
