cotton seed oil

Has anyone ever used cottonseed oil? Can you even use it? I was given some cottonseed oil and was curious If I could use it in a brew or should I toss it.
 
You can use it, but it will crash when it gets too cold. Then you just have to heat it and it falls back into solution. Correct me if I am wrong PG.

lol, your a younger guy aren't ya brutha? Cotton seed oil was all that was ever used in 99% of all gear back in the day! Nearly All Mexican Gear used cotton seed oil and it was just fine!
 
lol, hell yeah, those were good days, the gear was flowing like water and the www. in web addresses stood for "wild wild west" lmao, cause it sure was different back then in the late 90's early 2,000's, the internet was crazy!
 
Good ol QV shit..nothing like a lump on your ass for a week.
Cottonseed oil is a thicker oil and should be used with large esters and with BB as it will help thin it.
I have used filtered USP grade cottonseed oil a lot and its still one of my favorites. Yes you can use it, heat it (warm it) where its just got enough to touch but not burn you then filter it into a clean sterile vial.
It works well with the test and nand esters.

Unfortunately not........ but this igf (mc) has got me feeling like a kid again. I'm 38 and never really needed any extra help until i hit 30. I played football and baseball in college and the ncaa tested randomly and frequently, so i never had a chance. I recently got into brewing because i got sick of trying to find good gear. Now I'm addicted and brew shit I don't even need. I've got enough gear to last me the rest of my life and i still want to make more! Hopefully it's a fad i will soon grow out off.

38 is still young in bodybuilding brutha , and shit if your making too much shit then make me some shit and send it to me to grade for you, lol, I will give you straight A's lmao

Would be honored for you to pimp my shit........ you know it's good cause powder guy helped me along the way. Between PG and this site i have become a master brewer (lol).
 
Master is a pretty strong word but I like where your going bro. If you learn and practice then you will be great in no time. Always ask questions and always research..i learned the same way in some subjects.
 
Injected 1cc yesterday of the sust i made with cotton seed oil and was absolutely painless. I made a couple of tweeks to the recipe as suggested by others from my other brew of sust and it turned out great. I will post the recipe i used later (don't have it with me now) just so some can double check me. I like the C.S.OIL! Don't know if i made this batch better or if the CS Oil made the difference. Only downfall is it took longer to inject. Will take longer injection time over pain any day. Thanks to all for the great info.
