Rotator cuff surgery recovery w/IGF log

OK......... meant to start this log last week but have not felt like doing much! Plus it's hard enough to type, let alone one handed. So I had a massive tear in my rotator cuff and this would make my second time for surgery on the same shoulder. The Doctor, which was Dr. James Andrews protege and if anyone knows about sports related injuries and where most of the Professional Athletes go to have this type of surgery done, Dr. Andrews is well renown for his skills and is the Doctor of choice so I was extremely comfortable having my Doctor perform the surgery. I will try to post weekly pics along with a progression log. This is a 3 month process of rigorous physical therapy which is a slow and long process. Like the Doc stated "this is a Marathon no a sprint". Therapy is a slow process with lots of stretching. For the first month I will not be able to lift my arm by my self, any exercise will consist of me or my therapist assisting with the movement of my right arm.

During my recovery I will be taking IGF-1 LR-3 (mc), week 1 and 2 at 80 mcg a day (7 days a week) after therapy. Then will bump up to 100 mcg for the remainder of the 3 months. Along with the IGF, I will be taking a Test Pheny/Iso mixture (which I will post the recipe in another post and I fucking love it, no pip at 150 mg/cc) at 100 mg EOD. Hopefully the cruiser dose will help me retain some of my previous gains. I will be staring cardio in the 3rd week and will add lower body work out after the 4th week.

I will post some pics to hopefully show my gains and losses along with movement acquired during my physical therapy process. I don't have many good post surgery pics, but should be suffice to give an idea of my progress. If anyone has any suggestions or comments please post. I want all info possible for myself and others with questions. Plus I want to show others how good MC's IGF really is and how good it works.

Like I said, I am a week late and have already showed signs of great improvement! I am 2 weeks in therapy and already have good movement in my repaired arm. In the pictures I post today, they will show the incisions made by the Doc in order to repair my injuries. The Doc had to relocate my bicep in order to take the pressure off my rotator cuff. Also being such a huge tear and my second time, the Doc was not sure he could repair the damage, so the bicep relocation was necessary. Being he was a younger Doc, in his mid to late 30's, he was up for the challenge and eager to operate. The thing I like the most is he did not try to push cordizone shots and therapy first. Like he stated, that's all bullshit and is worthless for this type of injury. All that it does is satisfy the insurance company. Although I feel like I could lift my arm by my self, I have to be very careful not to re-injure the shoulder. The pain is very minimal, surprisingly, and I am able to lay flat. The first time I had this surgery I had to sleep in a recliner for almost 11 weeks. Being that I am in a lot better shape now and the relocation of the bicep has something to do with that. There is no doubt that the IGF has help in the ability of movement. I can lift my arm to put deodorant on the opposite arm, I can twist a door handle to open a door, and raise a spoon/fork to my mouth to eat among other things. This is after only 1 1/2 weeks. The first surgery was almost 4 weeks before this could happen.

I can go on and on about the surgery, but I think this should be good for now. If anyone has any questions, comments or suggestions please let me know. If I have not or do not explain something very well also let me know. Any and all comments and suggestions are welcomed and greatly appreciated. Like I stated before, I want to post my progressions to show others how good MC's IGF is and how much it really helps.

Here is a pic of the actual tear and a drawing from the doc showing where the tear was located. Trying to upload the pic of the actual repair but having a hard time. Hopefully I can get it uploaded later.

Here is a picture of the repair. Shows the sutures used to re-attach the muscle for the rotator cuff.

Picture on the left was taken 3 months ago, when I first tore my rotator cuff and stopped working out. Picture on the right was taken last week, almost 3 months of not working out. I have lost about 10 lbs, mostly due to cut back on eating. I have lost a little size in my chest and traps and all my muscle tone in the right arm (due to bicep relocation). The IGF is working amazingly and keeping me tone!! I am actually loose more belly fat and toning up without any exercise. I started running yesterday and felt great. That was the absolute highest I could raise my right to take the pic, after one week I can now lift above my shoulder. Will take a pic and post later, also my scars are healing amazingly. My wife is so impressed she started her IGF/ Anavar cycle yesterday.

Thanks for the comments brother, I know I have a lot of work in front of me but now I have killer gear and a wealth of info. it's on................ it's a great confidence booster to hear those words. Thanks again!

Here are some pics after only 3 1/2 weeks. I can almost flex my bicep completely and can raise my arm 3/4 of the way. Other pics are of the scars, which are healing nicely. The ones on the shoulders are very hard to see, even in person. They were really nasty at first, that,s where I inject the IGF, which is helping the healing of the scars nicely. They were definitely bad.

Please if anyone has had the surgery or knows someone that has, please let me know there experience and how long it took them to recover. All you lurkers need to register and chime in! This is my second time having the surgery on the same shoulder and the first time I could barely move it after the second month. The IGF (MC's) has undoubtedly helped. Would love for someone to tell there experience and try to prove me wrong. I'm healing extremely fast and it's a bit scary..... I have to be careful and not use my arm, it feels so good I sometimes forget I just had Surgery 5 weeks ago.

I have also added some BPC-157 and TB-500 in the 4th week and has sky rocketed the recovery. I go to the doctor tomorrow for an evaluation. Will post the results tomorrow. Lets here some other stories fellow brothers. I know I am not the only one that's had the surgery.

I've told my igf-1 lr3 recovery story too many times lol but I will say this though, when I found out about igf and that it might help a bad quad injury I had and then tried it and was so amazed that from that day forward I said I have to bring this product to the masses here at mc.com and there have been countless members rave about our igf over the past 13 or so years from injury healing to just adding muscle and shedding fat! Appreciate everyone review of our stores IGF-1 Lr3

Went to doctor yesterday and after only 5 weeks I have full range of motion back in my arm! Doc told me he is amazed by my motion in my shoulder, and he's never seen it come back that quickly. Average rate of recovery for full motion is 3 to 4 months. He also stated the my shoulder blades are completely symmetrical, this shows no restriction in the shoulder. He released me to go back to work at full duty, as long as I don't lift anything above my shoulders. I was not supposed to go back to work for 3 months. The IGF (MC"S) has worked amazingly, the addition of the BPC-157 and TB-500 has also been great. I believe that the BPPC-157 and TB-500 has helped me get the motion back so quickly.

I can almost flex completely, the only thing holding me back is that it feels like the incision on the bicep is going to burst open. The bicep relocation has healed great.

How's the process going?
I know it's been a couple months now.
Are you back to 100% or is it too soon?

Unbelievably well........... i have full range of motion and have two more weeks until i can lift anything heavy (4 more month mark). I'm not supposed to get full strength back until 9 months to 1 year. I don't believe this to be true. I just had my left shoulder operated on last week. I took a month off before the second surgery (igf) and was going to wait 2 weeks after the second surgery to start back up. The first day of therapy was extremely painful (3 days after surgery) so i decided to start the igf at 6 mg ED. I SWEAR ON MY KIDS LIVES.......... not more than 15 minutes after the first injection it felt like someone lube my shoulder (shot some grease in it). Made the exercises easier and a lot tolerable! I am now a week and half out of surgery and doing the 4 week period therapy. Therapist shit his pants and said they have to make this shit legal (igf). Its funny cause the physical therapy office is next to a health spa and they have a big add for skin rejuvenation, the first thing in the package is growth factor (igf). After the 4 month period for my left shoulder i will start working out again. I will never be able to do heavy weight again (already had 2 surgeries on the right shoulder and the doc said he can't fix it again) and will limit myself on free weights, so we'll see how that goes. I will post some more pics this weekend. Thanks for the curiosity. In all, MC'S igf is simply AMAZING...........! My wife seen how well it worked and just started it.

glad to see all is good man. Makes me feel way better about my shoulder not nearly as bad of a situation but at least I know if I do end up getting cut it wont be as bad as I thought. Its nice to see you are on the fast track back. Keep up the great work bro!

I am curious as to what exercises you were doing that caused the tear? I have had 4 rotator cuff tears over the past 20 years. 2 in each shoulder. The first 2 were doing dumbbell incline presses and stretching too far back. The last 2 were on the Hammer Strength behind the neck press machine. I don't do any of those exercises anymore. But interestingly I can do the behind the neck press on the Smith machine with no problem. I never had surgery for any of the tears and it took 4 to 5 months to completely heal. Right now my shoulders feel almost like they did before the injuries. I have gotten up to 2 45's on each side of the bar on the Smith machine for 6 reps. And no injury.

I was doing incline dumbell when i tore my right shoulder the second time ( which was torn playing baseball in college the first). The tear was completely separated and would have never healed by itself. Doc said it was so bad he didn't think he couldn't get the muscle to stretch back over the bond. The shoulder i just had done was torn 3 years ago, i bought a dirt bike for one of my daughters (that's what she wanted) and she got scared and wouldn't let go of the throttle, so i had to chase her down and fly like super man to yoke her off the bike. She was fine but how I landed, extended straight out with my left arm, tore my rotator cuff. Didn't need the surgery as bad as the right shoulder but I figured I would get it done while I was out for the other shoulder.
