Water Retention on an Anabolic Steroid Cycle

Everyone knows that a steroid cycle brings certain risks and the proper precautions are necessary to avoid problems. One nasty side effect is water retention, which, in a way, works in your favor and in another, causes more problems than you may want to deal with.Water retention mostly happens when certain steroids convert to estrogen in your body. Now, some water retention is not bad, since it fills the muscles out and gives them weight. It gets the body used to carrying more mass and some guys even claim to feel stronger while retaining water. The puffier and more bloated the guy, the stronger and crazier he is in the gym.Interestingly, creatine works via increase in water retention.

It essentially “bloats” you, but it also produces volume within the muscles. You take the good with the bad. But it gets to a point where the bloating not only increases blood pressure but it gives you a smooth (softer) appearance. Water weight blurs definition and makes you look fatter than you actually are! What good is that? Why look like a fat guy, when you can look like a bodybuilder.
In addition, another thing that a lot of guys don’t realize is that water bloat is often the cause of those dreaded “back pumps” that come while on cycle. This is especially true when using orals; specifically, D-bol back pumps are the worst.

Dbol is infamous for causing water retention and pain in the lower back.
So how do you avoid this? Well, there are several things you can do. First of all, drink lots and lots and lots of water! It’s amazing how people try to avoid urination by cutting back on water and it’s the dumbest thing you can do. Excessive urination is the body attempting to LOSE water. Let it happen naturally. Another method is to do more cardio. We all know extra cardio is not going to hurt you. Lastly, there are several herbs that act as diuretics, increasing fluid elimination and there are several supplements that act specifically for that reason.N2Guard is a powerful agent that removes subcutaneous water, eliminates bloat, increases muscle clarity and reduces hypertension. If you’re not taking something like N2Guard, I would suggest you start asap, unless you want to look like a puffy douche bag.

Nah, N2Guard is some OTC b.s.

If anyone is worried about water on their cycle, they should take arimidex, or the like to prevent water retention and if they already have water retention goin on then they will want to take nolvadex to eliminate the already existing bloat.
