Maltodextrin and nutrasweet are totally different.

Maltodextrin is a carb. Nutrasweet is the US trade name for Aspartame.

Aspartame has almost no carbs and zero calories. It is used in diet coke, sugarless gum.

Keto diet:

Not a good idea, but I am on one. It works fast and I am running out of time.

If you are on a keto diet, you shouldn't have any maltodextrin--except for recovery after weight training workout in an MRP. That is your ONLY place for carbs on a true keto diet.

How can you make a keto diet work without going insane?

1.5 grams of whole protein per pound of bodyweight...and...most importantly: Negative Calorie foods.

Go to this website and read up on negative calorie foods.

http://www.healthrecipes.com/negative_calorie_foods.htm

Negative calorie foods are foods that require more calorie expenditure from your body to digest and process them than are in the foods themselves.

For example, if you eat 50 calories worth of celery, your body will use 60 calories to digest it. In this respect you will be eating a lot, with a full stomach--but you will still be in caloric deficit.

Right now I am down about 500-1000 cals a day, losing 2-3 lbs a weeks without fatuburners. I am gettign weekly bodycomps done, so far only 1 lb of lean mass gone in 3 weeks. I think that was just water too!

There is some discussion that the negative calorie concept is a fad diet. I am not sure if the concept works 100%, so stay away from many of the fruits and eat only the fibrous water-rich veggies such as celery, broccoli, etc.

I hope dat helps mon,

Very good reply ZB.

I don't buy into that negative calorie carp though. I have tried using vegies like that on a CKD and I drink tons of dieat coke a day. It doesn't make a difference. Actually it does... it makes me more hungry.

And if you are not highly above your natural muscular limit than 1-1.2 g/lb will suffise.

That's the whole point though.

If you have a full stomach, and you are eating these types of food frequently--and you are always hungry--that is your body's way of telling you that you are in caloric deficit...

...hunger makes you insane real quick. I stuck to it however for 6 months untill I looked like the pic in the mebers section... juice free.

When I was were I wanted.( I never got looking so good in my life and I didn't doo drugs.) I went to the cinama and filled a bag with sweets. It weight 2.5 pounds. I promised to go easy and get back at eating normal. The bag was intended to last a couple af days. It lasted 45 minues however... 2.5 pounds of candy. After eatin it I got such sugar crave and I did'nt stop eating for weeks.

After 4 weeks I was looking worse than when I started.

BTW, I thaught it was life iz hard... and then you die.

Yeah there CS I can dig what you're saying. I have had my share of pig outs. In fact, I go into summer training each year hard as a rock then eat all the shit they feed me at the base or in the field just for comfort--and because there are no other choices.

Fuck last summer I ate 4 peices of pie, 2 burgers and 2 slices of pizza. I finished it off with a rootbeer float and some choc. ice cream in a bowl...They told us we'd have the afternoon "off"

Yeah, fuck right! Off from weapons training!

They made us run 10k and stop every k for pushups, situps, mountain climbers and jumping jacks supersetted at 15 each.

I wanted to fucking vomit but didn't fall out. Some dudes did.

The moral of the story:

I too am a dumb sonofabitch with a knack for pigging out at just the wrong time!!!

Peace,

ZB

Hunger causes big rebounds and make you pig out. I allways fall into that crap myself. You diet down real disciplined and bite yor theeth. But then comes the point gou give in, and everyone gets at one point, no matter how strong you are. You just can't win from your body. It has way too many means for beating you.

And those rebounds are nasty. I should really stay on a more balanced diet. Say a low carb diet instead of a CKD with just a slight calorie deficit and then keep it up... wel forever. Loosing fat very slowly is a good way to go I think.

true on dat...or keep same cals but increase cardio--that's what chris cormier does, and he's a top pro. That way is best anywhays as you get healthier and more conditioned. Just as streght training helps endurance atheletes, so can endurance training help strength athletes. get cut up without all the stims with just pure hard work...i do it outside. gym cardio sucks. But I am blessed. I live on the ocean, near a lake good for swimming, and surrounded by endless mountain trails. Not everyone has this luxury, so I can sympathize with some poor bastard from New Jersey who hates cardio because all he can do is run on a treadmill and stare at a wall.
