Finally, I think I was in the minority, but I couldn't stand Rousey.
i'm w/ you bro, her hype was getting way outta hand. between her saying she can beat anyone, man or woman, and rogan saying shit like she's not just once in a life time, she's once ever him human history (actual quote) and she's the most dominate female athlete ever, it was just too much.

poor ronda, just had the thought that she built this division and is victim to the worst KO in women's mma history, right? has any other women's KO had this much impact?
i wanted ronda's hype train to derail but man...she puts too much into this shit and gets pimped out into fuckin talk show interviews, magazine photo shoots, movies...her media obligations, which i believe are set up by the ufc, are unreal when at the end of the day, you fight ppl for a living. ronda's loss to me is in part due to the ufc pushing her too much.
ronda played the part of bad ass unstoppable bitch admirably and she is a talented and accomplished fighter but to me her loss is a part of what the ufc did to her. ufc wants money, ronda = money.
i think i'm ranting...my final thought is that i'm glad the better figher won. congrats to holly, she's a great girl and a good champ.

What's crazy is a few months ago maybe about 2 rousey was talking about how there are no drug tests for steroid use in MMA. Makes sense but at the same time if someone is in the cage on some Tren they just want to go crazy... Haha so not sure how that works with the females too. They might just take some
