I am going to break all your rules by not suppling diet, BMR, etc................hopefully you will forgive me and give some good generic advice.

Do you have a good generic regime for the last week before a photo shoot/ contest. Do you manipulate carbs only or carbs, sodium and water?

Carbs, sodium and water are all important to manipulate and we have a couple great articles on last week show prep here

is this for me??? ok ill bite

the needs for the last week are highly individualistic based on the person...

usually a sodium load and deload coupled with a carb deload/load will dry you out and, if you do the last 24 hours correctly, fill you in the right way..

if you screw it up youll either come in looking soft.. or come in looking flat..

a few mistakes people make..

1. cutting water.. if youre doing a sodium load/deload.. youre not to cut water as your reducing your sodium.. if you cut water your body becomes hyper volume sensitive

2. forgetting about potassium.. its vital to correctly deplete water with the deload

so let me clearly state that your last week to a show should never follow a "generic" guideline..

you should be testing out different load/deloads to know what works best for you.. or get on with a professional that can take the guessing game out for you thanks to his exp

I see you have specials for 3 months and beyond, do you ever do a coaching session for just the last week. The reason I ask is, I know my body well enough that I can get down to 6% bf pretty easy; what I struggle with is getting the perfect look for that 6 hour window to do a photo shoot. I have gotten the look before, but how I did it I have no idea.................reason is I rarely drink, but I usually get that "look" after a night of multiple beers and not watching what I eat. I wake up in the morning like WTF and then by noon after eating 2-3 meals it all goes away.

i dont and i will tell you why... if im not there at least the last 8 weeks i myself will not know exactly how your body will react..

you see i do something called microcalibration..

i have to take a little time to learn your body just as much as you have learned it...

so if you want me on board, i could set something up for a minimum of 8 weeks coaching..

if you want me for the final week i can set that up too but only after you understand the above disclaimer.. i will do what i believe is best for you with the limited amount of data that i have
