Electric Air pump vs hand pump vacuum

Is here someone that uses a electric air pump vacuum? Does it speed up the process of filtration? Is it really worth it? I am thinking to buy one, but not sure how much worth it is.

Thanks!

If the system is sealed then you only need create vacuum in the bottle. So it does not really matter if you have electric one or not. You can filter bigger batches with just regular hand pump. If you are going to do really big batches get a Peristaltic Pump and a Whatman Polycap type of filter. Just make sure to get filter that tolerates the chemicals you are going to use since these filters are a bit expensive.

And also watch the pressure. Don't just pump it all the way up just so you don't have to check constantly. You will crack filters. That is the worst....
