I was just curious.

i know how effective t3 can be in bbing. what does everyone think of the "weaker" version, t4, aka; synthroid, levoxyl (levothyroxine sodium)

Waste...you have to take so much more to get the same effect! And I've heard the effect from those isn't near as good as T3

Completely worthless. Except for me because I have no thyroid gland. And it's not because you have to take more for the same effect, it's because it has a two week half-life where as T3's halflife is less than one day.

i know the effects wouldnt be as good as t3, but maybe it would have a mild effect that some may be looking for. btw, i took them for a week, a few years back and just ended up with the runs.

Your own thyroid gland would stop producing T4 and then you would have the same levels of T4 in your blood if you were not taking it. The question is would your own thyroid gland kick back in when you stop taking it? Then you'd be taking it for life like I do.

i always knew of the potency of each drug, but since t3 was more potent, i thought that it would have more adverse reactions. but i guess that since it has the shorter half life it has less tendency to cause problems. is this right?
