Arginine and decresed GH output

Almost every preworkout over the last 15 years have contained some form of Arginine. It was the original vasodilator and was in every "NO" product. We now have much better options for a pump. The researchers in the study found something that should confirm to supplement companies that Arginine shouldn't be used in preworkouts anymore. Trained athletes who ingested 6g of Argininebefore working out had a 41% decrease in GH and IGF-1 levels postworkout. Yourbbody naturally releases GH and other growth factors after a workout to help repair and rebuild muscle tissue. Taking Arginine before a workout may significantly hinder your body's natural anabolic response to training! With somany better options for pumps, including citrulline malate and my favorite, organic nitrates, arginine is outdated. In fact, citrulline has been shown toraise arginine(and thus NO) plasma levels greater than arginine.

I take agmatine and loads or arginine. Citrulline and orthromine I think it's called don't do it for me. Oatmeal 45 minutes before with protein pre-workout and agmatine sulfate and arginine give me pump. I guess it's our body the way our liver works and kidneys. I know it has something to do with urea and I get gout from time to time.

Don't know why arginine would hurt u when citrulline wouldn't because citrulline converts into arginine. Arginine is the Nitric oxide pathway and it's is all done in the kidneys. Some people may have better results from one or other depending on their body and kidney function.

Arginine is also in every growth hormone supplement I see sold. It is an amino acid involved in healing. I disagree with the study because there are facts with science of our body that say other wise.

Ok I read the study. Or studies and I found 3 one says it increases second says it increases but not as much as exercise alone and third says arginine was ineffective at increasing growth hormone resting or active. But citrulline wasn't studied with arginine.. regardless of growth hormone increase we know igf and pumping muscles to force feed works to build muscles so that is my story and I am sticking to it. Didn't mean to be opinionated but hate for someone to believe a study and think our growth hormone levels at a certain time should stop supplementing with arginine. Most guys take gh in morning and not after workout and we know that it's the stimulation of igf that have the biggest impact on growing muscle.

I have taken arginine and citrulline, but by far the best thing I ever took for a pump was Vanadyl Sulfate. Stuff blew me up big time.
