I get this question all the time and it truly amazes me the lack of basic math skills in the fitness community. I guess it's bc we are the rouge rebels who don't use the metric system, but that's an entirely different topic. Here's how to properly reconstitute and measure a dose of any given peptide: 1) determine the total amount of milligrams of the molecule. For this example let's call it 1mg. 1mg = 1000 micrograms. 2) determine how much water to add to peptide. For something as small as 1mg, I like to add 2mL of water. This makes the concentration 1000mcg/2mL or 500mcg per mL. On a 1mL insulin needle, 10 units = 1/10 of a mL. So if you want to take 100mcg, that would be 1/5 of 1mL, since there are 500mcg per mL. So, measuring out to 10 would be 50mcg, so 20 would be 100mcg bc 20/100 = 1/5. Everything is in multiples of 10 so it's very basic math. If you wanted 250mcg, then you would measure to 50 or 0.5mL would be 250mcg. Make sense? GH is a little different bc you're dealing with IU and 1mg is approx = 3iu. So it's the same principle. Hope this helps. Long live the metric system!!! [/h]

don't need to be a math genius to figure it out, but in today's society, simple math eludes the majority of people. it is really beyond me how, because i do not see how they can't get it. then again, have you seen the math from core curriculum. that's an atrocity. i think our schools agenda is to keep the common folk dumb, so we don't know when they are being underhanded or deceiving us at higher echelons. rant over.

Common core is not very common nor should it be the core of the educational system. Who came up with it anyway?

my boy use to say to me 'dad, common sense isn't so common anymore.' from what i've seen in the last 15 or 20 years, that statement is oh so true. people do not want to think, no consideration of consequences for their action. they would rather be just led around by someone else and not have to think. or so it would seem, from the looks of it on the surface.
i know a little off subject, but i do believe they are trying to dumby our kids up in school anymore. making them just followers of their agenda. get the young minds while they're young and train them and they'll follow it blindly when they're older. what's worse is ppl are truly buying into that crap so easily, and refuse to look at the truth, even when it's right in front of them.
so sorry i got off track there drtbear, some things just get me. i'm done ranting.

PGB - man I am with you. I had one son that was called to the principals office because he could get his math work done faster than the teacher could get the homework written on the board. She swore he was cheating and we had to go meet with the principal and teacher. I had her write 5 question on the board and by the time she finished the last problem, my son turned in his paper. The principal checked the work and it was correct. It was at that point that I suggested they try to challenge him and not accuse him of cheating. I wasn't popular with that teacher for the rest of the year.

drtbear, i hear ya. sounds as bad as me writing one teacher telling her to quit sending homework home for my granddaughter for me to teach her. to do her job and teach not present. that i had other things to teach her with my time. she didn't like that and went to the principal, like that would make a difference in my stand.
our schools have become overbearing, propagandizing, communistic institutions of indoctrination. it is very sad, because too many of our brilliant little minds are being condemned to become mindless drones, due to a systematic approach to control the masses and keep us subservient. that's where we come in and teach them to be their own person. to think, have an imagination, and not to submit to the socialist.
but hey, thanks brother for being right there with me. i'll be in it with you, too.

Now that we have President Trump coming in January, maybe we can get rid of common core and Obamacare!!
