I stole someones DNP diary...

here we go!

February 11, 2001
I told *** that I would keep a daily journal of the effects of DNP as I go through my very first cycle. This first entry will, unfortunately be fairly long as I explain my reasoning behind my decision to take DNP. First, I’ll give a little bit of background on myself so that this makes a little more sense to you. I am 42 years old. I have been out of athletics for nearly 20 years. A good life coupled with a very sedentary job has lead to a gradual unwanted “increase” in my weight over the last 10 years. To the point that I sit today roughly 70 lbs over where I feel I should be. During the last four years, I have lost a considerable amount of weight on two occasions; once losing 60 plus pounds and once losing 40 plus pounds. Both times, I have lost a significant amount of muscle mass along with the fat. As I have put weight back on, I added nothing but “blubber” and no muscle mass. Meaning, I am rounder, softer, and weaker today than I have ever been in my life. I am looking to run several cycles of DNP along with a slow increase in physical activity. I am getting ready to compete again in Master’s athletics. Specifically, I am looking to throw the shot put again.
I have done a significant amount of research on DNP, beginning about 1-1/2 years ago. I have looked into numerous avenues of purchasing it. I began the cycle by taking the first capsule at 7:00 pm tonight followed by the second capsule at 9:00 pm, just before bed. I am dropping my caloric intake down to about 1,900 calories and including with this a non-metabolism enhancing appetite suppressant. We’ll see what happens.

February 13, 2001
Last night, I took my second dose of DNP. I took the first capsule at 6:00 pm and the second at 9:00 pm. At dinner I had Terriaki beef with rice and bread. Far too many Carbohydrates. I felt the burn for the first time last night. When I woke up this morning, my bedding was soaked threw, however, I did sleep well and completely through the night. With skipping two meals yesterday (cleaning my body,) and the fairly light dinner, I dropped 4 lbs. yesterday. I am sure this isn’t a sustainable pace, but a pound or two a day would be nice. Today I will only eat dinner again (still cleaning my body,) and then tomorrow I will up my calories and eat at least three, if not four times a day. I am warm this morning, but nothing unbearable.

Took the third dose last night. About the same spacing; one at 6:00 pm and one at 9:00 pm. Dinner was a turkey breast and olive sandwich (from subway.) I ate no breakfast or lunch (final day of clearing my body out.) Today I had two eggs (fried with no grease, ) and a very lean sausage patty for breakfast. I am taking two multi-vitamins a day as well. Yesterday throughout the day, I was very warm and sweaty. I am wearing a 100% cotton tshirt and 100% cotton boxers to absorb the perspiration and it has worked very well. I don’t have perspiration stains on my work shirts. (I work in an office and big rings of sweat around my arm pits and neck wouldn’t be acceptable.) Instead of wearing and antiperspirant, I have chosen to change my tshirt and boxers at noon and take a quick sponge bath. It worked yesterday, we’ll see if it works today as I anticipate being much warmer today. My night last night was fairly unbearable, but that is attributable to the fact that unbeknownst to me, my wife came to bed after I was asleep and closed the bedroom window. Tonight I am sleeping on the couch with the fan on. I also didn’t weigh myself this morning and probably won’t until after my last dose this coming Sunday. I feel great, my energy level is down just a little bit, but I am much more comfortable in my clothes already. See you tomorrow.

My forth dose was much like the third one. I was very hot last night, however, I found sleeping down stairs with a window open and a fan blowing directly on me made me very comfortable. I think as a combination of my lowered calories and the DNP I am very low on energy. I am eating quite well today, 2,200 calories. I will be eating mostly high protein with smaller amounts of carbs and fat. (2 eggs for breakfast, a lean sausage and ½ of a bagel. For lunch I will be having turkey breast and dark lettuce, with one slice of bread. I haven’t determined what dinner will be. I will determine it based up my energy level. I have been drinking huge quantities of water since the process began and it has been running straight through me. Beginning yesterday afternoon I could tell I was beginning to retain the water and I was urinating considerably less and I feel a little more “bloated.” In all, my face is obviously thinner, my pants are fitting me differently. I can feel that weight has left me. My basic evaluation as this point is that the side effects have definitely been manageable with a little preparation and fore-thought and if I have lost what I feel I have, it is well worth it. (Well see when I weigh in at the end of two weeks.)

I’m not sure if it is simply situational or if it is true for all DNP users, but I find that DNP exacerbates any pre-existing conditions or s. Examples would be; I am somewhat lactose intolerant. I find on DNP I become very nauseated and have extreme abdominal cramps until I pass all lactose products through my system. I have a skin rash I picked up in the Caribbean in January and have been fighting to clear it up. On DNP the condition seems to have worsened. These are by no means threatening nor are they beyond managing, but they seem to be an effect I have on DNP. Last night was not any hotter than the previous night. The couch and I are getting to be good friends now. So are the fan and I, for that matter. I have a fan on at work as well. I find that with my appetite suppressant I am not experiencing the “carbo craving” that I’ve read about. Breakfast again this morning was two eggs and a lean sausage; Lunch will be tuna out of the can (packed in spring water,) and a vegetable salad. (Dark green veggies only – higher in protein and lower in carbs.) Dinner tonight will be a nice med. Rare New York Strip with a salad. I am definitely retaining water right now; however, I am sweating so much throughout the day, that I am still drinking lots and lots of fluid ( Note from *** - The more water you drink the less water you tend to retain ). I am interesting to see what happens when I clear this fluid from my body as I have already tightened my belt one notch and dropped two inches in my waist. I have three more doses for this cycle.

Very hot, very fit-full night. The pillow I have been sleeping with is totally wasted now. I don’t even think I’m going to wash it, just throw it away. Taking the pills at night makes the nights especially unbearable, but it is definitely a better option than taking them in the morning and baking throughout the day. Up to this point, I have been able to control and manage the discomfort. I think the night snuck up on me. I feel very lethargic and sluggish. (I had intentionally not taken the appetite suppressant today as it has a high concentration of caffeine and I didn’t want to be taking such huge quantities of straight caffeine. As a result, I am very run-down right now. I haven’t as yet experienced any “carbo cravings.” I saw myself in the mirror this morning before I stepped into the shower. I can definitely see a difference, but as I stated earlier, I won’t weigh myself until I’m through with the cycle. (Boy did this sound like a real distressing report. Sorry about that, but I thought I would be honest with you.)

I am pretty sure that it has all cleared my system. I had a wonderful night of sleep last night. I will be weighing myself tonight instead of waiting until Friday. I am going to stay on low calorie diet (about 1,800 – 2,000 calories/day) along with increasing my exercise for the next two weeks and then I will begin another DNP cycle on March 4. I will report tomorrow what my weight loss is and then hold off until I start my next cycle. See you tomorrow.

27 lbs. I’ve dropped 27 pounds. I can tell and feel that it is mostly, if not all, body fat. I don’t think I have lost much muscle composition. I’m sold on the effectiveness of DNP. It needs to be remembered though, my situation is different than most body builder’s. I am significantly over weight. This first 27 pounds isn’t even 10% of my body weight. It is a great start to my recovery though. I will continue in the next week and a half with the increased exercise and the restricted diet, and then on March 4th, I will start another DNP cycle. I will write about that one as it should be different than this one was simply because my body will be in different shape. With that said, I will begin writing again in a week and a half.

If you would have read the origional post.... you would see that those aren't his results....

Just remember when on DNP your workouts usually won't be the same . You'll be lethargic quite a bit while on. You shouldn't lift very heavy either and stick with higher reps and a medium amount of weight cause you'll be prone to injuries at this point. If you think you have bunk stuff then just eat a lot of carbs and you will know very quickly if you have real stuff or not. It will stain everything yellow so it would be a good idea to wear clothes that you don't mind possibly ruining. Use some latex glove when handling it or your hands will be yellow as well. As far as being allergic to the stuff , some people develope a rash while others don't have this problem.

I got usnic acid u think thats gonna give me good results??

I've never tried it on it's own but have used a fat burning supp that had usnic acid as one of the ingredients and it worked very well for me. It was made by Synthrax and to the best of my knowledge they discontinued that particular supp quite some time ago.

My bad CJ, all i was saying, if anybody cares, is that its a bitch to get overweight or out of shape and have to fight to get back to a certain weight. Whos ever post it was, I dont know, but i just wanted to give some input.

dnp is very dangerous and i would not advise anyone to take it!! nothing that hard work and diet cant take care of but i do know what u guys r feeling.

What I am feeling is laziness. I don't wanna diet. I wanna bulk as hell and peel of the fat with DNP without havin to diet and loose some of my muscle a gain. If I diet I can't bulk.

I'm not terribly overweight. I weigh 93 kgs (205 lbs) with 15% bf, wich would make 30 lbs of fat. If I could loose about 10 to 15 I would be very happy. I think a low dose of DNP for just one wek should work, and I don't know if it is all that hazardous.

Has anybody ever read a diary of someone who got into serious problems at low doses. Maybe I should read up on those and get myself convinced to stay way from it, but so far I haven't really heard any bad things so I'm stupid and gutsy enough to try it!

y not just eat cleaner/leaner and still add muscle ......just becuz your weight stays the same or goes down doies not mean that u r not adding muscle or size.....i no that personally i would rather b 195 @9% than 205 @15%

Well I gues you are right.

Than again, maybe I should just wait a month till my bulking cycle and eat clean as you say. If I gain lots more muscle mass and hardly any fat mass than bf% would drop. ....I guess?

Cyber , have you thought of giving GH a try? This would be ideal for the goal you want to reach . You won't have to diet as harshly and you'll retain most of your muscle. And also it's not anywhere near as bad as using DNP.

Yeah , i don't know how much it cost fo GH over there so it might be out of the question . Dedprez brought up a good idea though. I'd try that before going with the DNP. If you change your body's compostion and add muscle while keeping about the same amount of fat then the % will drop significantly.

I'm going to do a EQ/Fina/Winny stack for 10 weeks, followed by 10 weeks of bridging with the GH/Slin/T3/Clen.....

Then i'll do a Test Prop/Fina cutting cycle, while bumping the GH up to 4.5 iu/day.....
