Nandrolone decanoate returned to sale in US pharmacies last week when Schein Pharmaceuticals began vending it again. Sales of the tradename product were stopped by Organon, the company that owned the trademark several months ago. This caused a great controversy in the HIV community because nandrolone is one of the most beneficial anabolic steroids for males and females with HIV-related weight loss.
The price of nandrolone from Schein has been raised to approximately $30 per 200 mg vial. Schein's nandrolone was sold for $4 per vial several years ago. The price increased several times before nandrolone was removed from the market last year.
