When to run a Clomid Cycle

There is truly only one time in which a Clomid cycle will be beneficial, and that is during Post Cycle Therapy (PCT). The PCT period is what follows the use of anabolic steroids, we complete our cycle of anabolic steroids, discontinue our use and then begin a PCT plan. The purpose of this plan is twofold, and it is rather straightforward, when we supplement with anabolic steroids our natural testosterone production is suppressed. It doesn't matter how well we planned out our cycle, it doesn't matter how genetically blessed we may be, if you supplement with anabolic steroids, your total testosterone production will be suppressed. For this reason, most will include exogenous testosterone in their anabolic steroid plan, but once steroid use has come to an end something must be done.

Once all anabolic steroidal supplementation has come to a halt, and all the hormones have cleared your system, your natural testosterone production is going to begin again, but it's still going to be rather low. It can take up to a year to fully recover from even a moderate anabolic steroid cycle, even longer in some cases. By implementing a Clomid cycle right after your anabolic steroid use, you will dramatically speed up this recovery, and promote a total better end. No, a Clomid cycle will not fully recover your natural testosterone, but it will provide enough testosterone for you to function properly, protect a good bit of the progress you made with your steroidal supplementation, and most importantly, it will protect your overall health. Failure to complete a Clomid cycle or some type of PCT plan can result in a low testosterone condition, and this can be extremely hard on your health, and even destroy the vast majority of the progress you made through steroidal supplementation. It's all fairly basic, a Clomid cycle will promote testosterone recovery, which of course protects our health, and it will aid in the protection of some of our progress, some progress will still be lost without the large influx of anabolic hormones, but far more would be lost without a Clomid cycle.

Failure

If you fail to complete a Clomid cycle or some other PCT plan, you can guarantee you're going to lose most if not all the progress you made while on your cycle of anabolic steroids. Further, there's a good chance you'll suffer from some of the symptoms of a low testosterone condition, and it is through such symptoms you'll see your progress fade away. Testosterone truly is one of the most important hormones we produce, and it is essential to our well being, in fact, of all the hormones we produce, it is without question one of the most essential. Men who suffer from low testosterone will lose muscle mass and strength and even gain body fat, further, they'll almost always suffer in terms of their libido and overall sexual function. Moreover, those who suffer from low testosterone often become lethargic, they have less energy, a difficult time concentrating, their immune systems suffer and they can often become depressed, low testosterone has been shown to be a significant contributor to depression. As you can see, if you're going to supplement with anabolic steroids, there really is no reason to forgo a Clomid cycle.

The Plan

Once your anabolic steroid use has come to an end, now it's time to implement your Clomid cycle. For most men, five weeks of Clomid therapy will suffice, with a starting dose of 150mg per day the first two weeks, 100mg per day the next two weeks and 50mg per day the final week. Of course, you will need to time your use based on how your anabolic steroid cycle ended, and while Clomid will be the only thing many people use for PCT there are other items we can add to enhance therapy, but this will again play into timing. Many will choose to add in hCG to their Clomid cycle, and in many cases, this is highly advised as it will greatly promote recovery. Below we have listed all you'll need to know in order to time out everything just right, from there, the rest is up to you.

*Clomid Cycle I – Large Esters & Clomid Only: If your anabolic steroid cycle ends with any large ester base anabolic steroids, you will begin your Clomid therapy 14-21 days after your last injection. 14 days will suffice in most cases, but if your cycle ended with a steroid carrying a massively large ester such as Decanoate you may want to wait until day 21.

*Clomid Cycle II – Small Esters & Clomid Only: If your anabolic steroid cycle ends with all small ester base anabolic steroids, you will begin your Clomid therapy 3 days after your last injection.

*Clomid Cycle III – Large Esters, Clomid & hCG: If your anabolic steroid cycle ends with any large ester base anabolic steroids, you will begin your hCG therapy 10 days after your last injection, and you will supplement with hCG only for 10 days at a dosing of 500-1,000iu per day depending on the need created by your anabolic steroid use. Once your hCG use has come to an end, you will begin your Clomid therapy the following day.

*Clomid Cycle IV – Small Esters, Clomid & hCG: If your anabolic steroid cycle ends with all small ester base anabolic steroids, you will begin your hCG therapy 3 days after your last injection, and you will supplement with hCG only for 10 days at a dosing of 500-1,000iu per day depending on the need created by your anabolic steroid use. Once your hCG use has come to an end, you will begin your Clomid therapy the following day.

Something to add/think about when adding Clomid or anything PCT. How much were you taking on cycle? How long was your cycle? Is this your first cycle or a vet? Your age?
