Ok I am having alittle trouble putting an avatar under my handle!

I know...I don't know shit about putting images on a computer! So, what would I type in the IMG box and where can I get an avatar?

click on the "user cp" button at the top of the page, click on "edit options", click on "change avatar" under avatar, click yes, if the image is saved on your computer click "browse" and find where the image is saved on your computer, if it is online, enter the address in the box, click submit.

There you go.

Everytime I try to use a custom avatar, it says that it is not a valid GIF or JPG file. I have tried some from freeavatars (which I know some other people have used here) and it still don't work. What the hell am I doing wrong.

Well, when you find an avatar you like you need to right click and save as picture, then you go to MC profile and press browse. I hope that helps.

"latinsteel" is a pretty tuff fu-king name. You need an avatar to match, just my opinion. But hey, it is better than nothing at all! Hey if you like it and think it's badass that's all that matters.
Shit still ain't workin for me. I am on a Mac so I don't have no right click. What I did was drag it off the website onto my desktop and tried to just load it from there. I am really starting to feel like a dumbass on this one! I used to see myself as halfway computer literate, but after this i don't know. Can anyone help?

I think I am officially giving up on this goddam avatar thing. My avatar is definitely smaller than 100x100. Saved from website as a GIF file. I e-mailed it to my other computer and it went across ass a GIF file. But when I go to browse under the avatar section to load from my computer, it is listed as a BMP file??????? IS ANYONE ELSE USING A MAC OUT THERE THAT HAS LOADED AN AVATAR????????!!!!!!! IT CAN'T BE THIS HARD!!!!!
