Hey!! I have joined the gym a few months back. A few weeks back, I lifted weights and injured my elbow. My arms are aching a lot. I don't know what to do. I feel like I can't use them. They feel like very heavy and tired. I can’t even straighten my elbow when I try to do it. I have to keep them bent at a 90 degree angle. The pain seems to be coming from directly where my arm bends to about 1 inch towards my bicep. I took some painkillers, massaged it by myself and it seemed to lessen the pain but only temporarily. A few days ago, I experienced a sharp stabbing pain. One of my neighbors suggested consulting a sports massage therapist from a clinic in Toronto (http://www.physiomobility.com/physiomobility-team.html). Has anyone here had a similar situation? What have you done to get rid of the pain? Any advice is highly appreciated. I can't tolerate the pain anymore. Please help!!

I'm no doctor but you may have inflamed elbow or tendonitis. How old are You? Are you still working out or using the arm much? I suggest stretching good when healed. Maybe ice it

Don't mess around with injuries. If it isn't feeling any better in a few days, have a doc check it out. Ice is your friend so just play it safe.
