I started a bulk 5 weeks ago and judging from my weekly scans, I've stalled badly. I just wanted you guy's opinions on my macros before I started looking for other issues.

287g protein
430 carbs
109fat

Worst thing I eat is prepackaged bread(100% whole grain) with a sandwich each day (2 slices), and granola bars. The granola bars are almost always eaten within 1.5 hours of my workout.

I'm currently following the Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Size plan for lifting weights (4way split with"rest/pause" on each exercise). Also, my job is very active. I operate a cutting machine at a cabinet shop, so I'm constantly carrying stacks of wood weighing about 60 pounds.

I use 50mcg IGF preworkout.

I'm 6ft tall, 215lbs, 18%bf

Thanks for the input folks

When you say that you have stalled, what do you mean? There are a lot of variables that need to be addressed.

What else are you using aside from the IGF brutha? And if your only using the igf alone, might i suggest taking it post workout with your posy gym carbs and protien. This will help shuttle the nutrients right away and replenish glycogen stores in the muscle. It would work best this way for you if your not getting the gains you anticipated and doing everything correct as far as you can tell.

Is one of your meals near bed time? Metabolism slows down at night. Depending on how active you are you may need to SLOWLY increase your calories still you start seeing progress.

I'll give it a shot. Not using anything else of real importance. Just the usual BCAAs, whey after lifting, creatine, etc.

Then I would lower carbs..or try carb cycling...no carbs after 5.

Are you keeping a daily log? Let us take a look. Without seeing what you are eating we are just guessing even more than you. You could be eating some thing that your body can't digest. From your stats you sound tall and lean, you may need WAY more calorie than you are getting now. 400g of carbs seems a little low.
