Have any of you guys bought pellets at a feed store? I got bored at work today and started calling all the local feed stores but none of them have even heard of growth implants. Here is how the conversation went with animal feed express.

Me: Do you guys carry growth implants for cattle?

Worker: What?

Me: Growth implants for cattle, they are called finaplix.

Worker: Peanut Bricks, we don't have any peanut bricks.

I thought it was pretty funny at the time. I then told him how they administer the pellets and he sounded amazed. How do you guys buy them locally? I will stick with websites.

I called a vet, that in the yellow pages, said they work with horses & cattle. They had never even heard of Finaplix, so I thought I would just stick with the web.

I called a feed store out in the sticks where they have mass farms, not sure why they haven't heard of implants.

go to vet live or intervet web site and then call the company they will give you the distributor in your area.. so i hear.. i would have never done that because i'm natural..lol.. just ell them that a farmer next to you got some for his cows and your vet doesn't carry it and you would like to try some one one or two cows to see if you like want it does to them... i get mine for 25.50 no shipping.. no price break for a box.. but still cheaper than vet america and the rest of them...
